In the past 1 year, my car has had about 6-7 incidents where the car abruptly breaks and seatbelts tighten. This has been at speeds of 30- 40mph more or less. NOTE: There was NO reason for the hard breaking as there were NO cars and NO pedestrians in sight. Brake fluid leak from left front caliper crossover tube. Corrosion was found where composite insulator covers crossover tube that allowed weakening of pipe and subsequent loss of braking action. Leak was substantial enough that both channels of master cylinder were deprived of fluid, total loss of brakes, vehicle required towing.

Steering and the car is available for inspection. The car's steering failed and it ran into a parked car ay 15MPH on a resiential street. The car has been reviewed by insurance representatives. No warning lights appeared before the steering malfunction.

Independent service company said the car has a raw fuel smell under the vehicle. Signs of fuel leak at the connection between the high pressure fuel rail / high pressure fuel pump line. Mentioned a recall campaign of 2022030003. That addresses this issue. I contacted Mercedes Benz dealers (2) and they said my VIN does not show a recall. The recall does show up online via an AI search and it is supposed to cover 2016-2020 GLCs like ours. Don't know why this is. Can you help?
