While driving at freeway speed, the panoramic sunroof on my 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQE 350 suddenly shattered without any impact, debris, or warning. Glass fell into the vehicle. This was a serious safety hazard. Mercedes-Benz denied warranty coverage. An independent insurance adjuster inspected the vehicle and determined the cause was defective glass, not external damage. This appears to be a manufacturing defect involving spontaneous sunroof shattering.
