Window trim on the passenger rear window fell off while driving- it put others at risk by flying off the vehicle on the interstate- Mercedes Benz of Omaha quoted replacement of the window trim parts- no warning messages on dash

The contact owns a 2020 Mercedes Benz GLS. The contact stated that while driving on the highway, the rear door window trim bars on the passenger side detached from the window. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where they diagnosed as a rear door window trim detachment however the vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the issue. I have been receiving errors that visibility is reduced. Lane departure system is not working and car has brake suddenly in moderate traffic despite not being close to vehicle ahead of me.

The panoramic sunroof spontaneously shattered. I was driving on highway under open sky and the sun roof just imploded and all the glass came shattering inside all over. There were no extreme weather or any construction or chances of any debris from anything around. No impact object could be identified upon inspection after the car was stopped.
