Recall 2024100002 for my 2019 Mercedes-AMG GT 53 is listed as “Completed” in the manufacturer’s system, but the dealer’s service record from November 2024 clearly states that the recall part was on backorder and the repair was not performed. There is no later record of the recall ever being completed. The recently completed recall on this vehicle back in 2021 last year for the wheel hub caps. Approximately two days ago, I drove it off the dealership and after I got home I noticed the wheel hub cap was missing from my passenger side. 2016 MERCEDES BENZ AMG. CONSUMER WRITES IN REGARD TO NHTSA SAFETY RECALL 21V-478. THE CONSUMER STATED THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME COMPLETING THE RECALL REPAIR. THE PARTS WERE NOT AVAILABLE.

1)The side cover on the driver’s seat covering the seatbelt harness area detaches from the seat. The defect has been shown to the Mercedes dealer, Autohaus on Eden of Northbrook, IL several times. The dealer refuses to fix it. 2) The wheel hubcaps fly off during a normal drive of 30 mph risking injuries to other vehicles. The recall has been issued by NHTSA, but the same dealer refuses to acknowledge and fix it.
