Unshielded rear-center generator exhaust pipe positioned with approx 12 in clearance above the ground, ignited the exterior of vehicle when generator operated, causing total loss. My safety as well as my pets was put at great risk due to this design and lack of shielding. We purchased a new 2025 Jayco Melbourne and afterwards discovered the MBZ 3500 Chassis was a 2024.(6/19/2024) A 2025 MBZ 3500 chassis has a TPMS -factory installed system; 2024 no TPMS.
