Brake pedal went to floor and brake function became significantly impaired and dangerous. Took car to local shop who diagnosed as failed rear brake lines, and most of the entire length of the rear lines were in very bad condition. Car only has 104k on it. Strong fuel smell after refueling and topping off the gas tank. The smell is inside as well as outside driver side rear door. This occurs each time after I put gas in the car and the smell remains.

FUEL SMELL IN CABIN FROM REAR FUEL PUMP. THIS IS AN ISSUE THAT OTHER PEOPLE WITH THE W212 HAVE BEEN HAVING AS WELL ACCORDING TO MBWORLD.ORG FORUMS. Have strong odor of fuel in cabin and outside driver's side rear of vehicle that has been increasing in intensity over the past couple of months. I removed the rear seat bench and the access cover for the fuel pump under the driver's side rear seat and found pooled fuel on top of the pump as well as a lot of dirt and grime showing that it had been a problem for some period of time. I dried up the fuel but the problem continues, and continues whether or not the tank is full or less than 1/2…

Strong smell of gas noted at the driver rear wheel well after a fillup. Under the rear seat, the top of the fuel tank is under a pool of gasoline. The cap that covers pump/filter/sending units is leaking. I cleaned up the gasoline, and almost immediately the indent on the top of the tank began filling up with gasoline again. Air is getting into the fuel system, making it difficult to start. No warning lights to indicate an issue.

UPON FILLING UP MY GAS TANK THERE IS A STRONG ODOR OF GASOLINE. THIS BECOMES REALLY BAD WHEN PARKED IN MY GARAGE. WE HAVE 2 SMALL CHILDREN SO WANT TO SOLVE THIS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

ENGINE WILL NOT COME OUT OF PARK WITH OUT TURNING VEHICLE ON AND OFF A FEW TIMES. THIS HAS HAPPENED OVER THE LAST FEW MONTHS.
