2022 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500
Filed May 28, 2026
The coolant control valve or ccv failed. Initially it caused coolant to leak and the trucks fans would run on high even when the truck was turned off. The truck would sporadically raise temp and de rate the engine. Now the check engine light comes on with the engine being de rated. This is similar to the other 21 and 22 year model that Chevrolet has warrantied.

The vehicle jerks/shifts harshly while decelerating and again when accelerating after slowing down. The issue feels similar to the previous transmission shudder concern that was repaired.

We also recieved a green clean check list on the car except to check tire pressure monitor. This electrical fire started center console. We had a minor…
2021 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500

I have a 2021 Silverado LT trailboss. Catastrophic engine failure. Camshaft bearing and lifter failure. First lifter replacement @ 16,000 miles. Second at 104,000 miles. The “new” motor had lifter failure at 12,000 miles. Canada is now included in the recall but I was again told by GM that my engine is not affected due to…
