2022 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500

Filed Jul 21, 2026

The vehicle experiences a sudden, violent drop into limp mode during active traffic acceleration. The internal Output Shaft Speed Sensor completely drops its signal, causing the vehicle to rapidly lose speed in active traffic lanes, creating an immediate and severe rear-end collision hazard.Diagnostic Evidence:Dealership (Crews Chevrolet) officially scanned the vehicle and documented history codes DTC P0722 (Output Shaft Speed Sensor Circuit No Signal) and DTC P0700. The dealership technician…

The Electronic Parking Brake System on my 2020 Chevy Silverado 1500 continuously malfunctions. Chevy/ GM Customer Support has been made aware of this issue and continues to disregard it entirely. The Electronic Parking Brake, which is an automatic function that cannot be turned off or bypassed, fails to fully disengage when the vehicle is taken out of Park. The Electronic Parking Brake remains very slightly engaged, producing a slight noise while driving and causing excessively premature wear…

On XXX I leased this 2026 Silverado and I have discovered that this truck tramlines, basically rocks side to side on roads with longitudinal grooves in the concrete, meaning lines that go the same way you're driving, the truck will violently swag side to side. I have been pushed into oncoming traffic from this. On 7/17.26 I took my truck to Fox Chevrolet of [XXX] to get service about this issue. I took the general manager of theirs, Marc and he confirmed the issue. He said he would send the DOT…

2026 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500

Filed Jul 20, 2026

At approximately 3,000 miles, the engine began making a loud knocking noise that became progressively worse while driving. The truck was diagnosed as needing a complete engine replacement. No warning lights, no check engine light, nothing. For someone inexperienced with vehicles, you could easily be in big trouble on the highway and a potentially life threatening situation. My primary concern is that there was no warning that such a major engine failure was about to occur. An engine that fails…

On June 22, 2026, my Chevy Silverado was inoperable and had to be towed to the Chevy dealership. After a period of examination by the service staff, it was deemed to have experienced CATASTROPHIC ENGINE FAILURE. My truck has the 6.2L engine, but was NOT included in the original recall. It had just been serviced on 6/19/2026 and was only driven approx. 20 miles to my home. I have a video of what it was doing when I went to leave for work two days later on 6/22 when it wouldn't run without…

2019 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500

I had a complete loss of steering and had to have the truck towed to the dealership. This could have caused a very serious accident. There was no previous warning - it just went out. The dealership charged me $2183 to replace the steering gear. According to the literature, the steering function should last to well past 100K miles (my truck had 66,552 miles on it). In addition, there are multiple reports of steering going out online - perhaps a recall is in order. The literature also…

2019 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500

Without prior warning my power steering went out. This could have been life threatening. I had to have it towed to the dealership (Voss Chevy, Centerville OH). The truck had 66,552 miles on it and the extended warranty that we purchased thru Voss expired on 26 Mar 2026 and although we were under the 75K mileage, they would not honor it (planned obsolescence?) So they replaced the steering gear for $2183. After researching, the literature says that diagnostic code C1599 (which is what…

2026 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500

Filed Jul 18, 2026

A.The engine is stalling while driving. This has happened four different times. Three times while towing, and one time while backing up a small hill. This is a scary situation because three of the four times almost caused an accident. 1.We were driving to Texas, pulling a pontoon boat. While exiting the highway, we were entering into an intersection at a speed of about 10 miles per hour, and the truck shut down. The truck said, “Start the motor and place it into gear.” Or something similar to…

2023 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500

The left front turn signal becomes inoperable at times. The foreword collision indicator warning will come on unprovoked at times. Both conditions correct when you cycle the ignition switch. I consider the turn signal problem a safety issue because it happens with no warning and oncoming traffic may not know I am turning left or changing lanes. When the foreword indicator appears, I doubt the system is operable.
