Chevrolet Trailblazer

The car showed an error message saying shift to park when trying to turn the car off. The car was in park and showed in park on the dashboard & shifter but the error message still said it wasn’t in park. While this error is showing it will not allow the car to shut off or lock doors. I have a little over 19k miles on this car and should not have this issue. After researching this has been a know issue with their vehicles for years and it still has not been addressed.

The contact owns a 2022 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the brake pedal was depressed and became stuck. The vehicle was taken to a certified mechanic to be repaired; however, the failure persisted. The dealer was contacted and informed that the brake pedal, model cylinder, and booster needed to be replaced; however, parts were not available. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 140,000.

All 3 bolts that connect my tailpipe underneath my car failed. This caused the tailpipe to disconnect from the car, meaning I was pushing the pipe as I drove. Luckily it failed when I was at an intersection, and I heard the noise. I was able to drive slowly into a parking lot and disconnect the exhaust for a repair.
