Original Owner of 2021 Chevy Trailblazer LT. Purchased new in April 2021. Vehicle has a history of major powertrain issues, starting with Check Engine light during its first year of ownership, culminating in a complete turbocharger replacement in December 2025. This only as a result of my research, after many visits to dealership trying to diagnose the issue. About a year ago I brought my car to the dealership because my computer blacked out which resulted in losing power steering and braking ability. I was told they hooked it up to the computer and found nothing and sent me on my way. Last week this same thing happened 5x in one day and I lost all computer function for 24 hours. The computer has since glitched and blacked out multiple times but have not lost steering or braking.

While driving to work last Thursday morning suddenly my 2023 Trailblazer let out a sorta growl and then a dragging noise thankfully I was able to get over and stop on the shoulder only to discover that my tail pipe was dragging from just after the catalytic converter as the bolts apparently sheared off leaving only the head of the bolts intact. Lucky for me I there wasn’t major damage. I did however have to get my vehicle towed and have the bolt heads cut off in order to have the exhaust fixed

Per Manufacturers Bulletin PIC6660 Air Flow from dash bents when using A/C after extended driving... Indicates that the evaporator may become blocked by ice, so A/C does not work after about 1.5 hours during driving.

The shifter doesn't recognize when it is shifted into park. Shift to park keeps flashing on dash.

The shift assembly is going bad and causing a Shift to Park error that GM is aware of. They have issued a Technical Service Bulletin about this exact part. The error code will cause the battery to run down leaving me stranded. The dealer has inspected the vehichle and ordered the necessary part to replace it. The vehicle has not been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others but is available to have an inspection done. There were no warning lamps for this other…

Shifter

My new vehicle was stuck in park the dealership replaced a control module then a gear shift assembly and now some kind of brake switch and im nervous that the vehicles is unsafe. The dealership has not been letting me know much I've had to call and they won't give me any paperwork.
