Brake boost vacuum pump failure. While approaching a traffic light that was red, I applied the brakes. The pedal was very hard to press and required me using both feet to bring the vehicle to a stop. Stopping distance was much longer than normal. I removed the vacuum pump and found it had seized and broke apart.

While driving my 2020 Chevrolet Colorado through [XXX], the truck began having difficulty accelerating. As I exited the highway and turned into a gas station, the truck suddenly lost power. The steering became extremely difficult, and I lost normal brake assist. There are these New headlights that are LED and White and they are far to bright for oncoming traffic to the point that I see black spots that block the view of the road. To be clear they are not on my vehicle specifically, but a ton of the newer vehicles.

I bought this vehicle late June 2026 and it is currently September 1 2026 and last week I encountered a check engine light. Its already having coolant issues. Way too early for something like this. Only 64,000 miles.

The windshield cowl and trim pieces keel breaking. If I didn't keep an eye on them they would just end up flying off causing road debris or projectiles

Engine cooling system has a known leak. It is rather expensive out of pocket and although there is now a tsb the tsb does not cover the danger of overheating an engine and being stranded on the side of the road. Also the coolant leaking causes an unseen hazard by polluting water supplies with one of the more known toxins to the water and environment.

While driving home multiple lights,messages and sounds came on the dashboard. I stepped on the brake and there were no brakes. I put vehicle in neutral and pumped brakes a few times. I was not traveling that fast so the vehicle stopped before I hit the person in front of me. I drove 10 mpg with my hazards on to the nearest gas station. I called Chevy service and they sent a tow truck N/C to bring to the dealer.
