Incident Description:While driving my 2022 Chevrolet Silverado at highway speeds, the front passenger-side bumper outer filler panel (fascia molding) completely detached from the vehicle without warning and flew off into active traffic. The factory plastic mounting clips and tabs failed entirely under normal driving conditions. Because the panel flew directly into the path of trailing vehicles, this defect creates an immediate and severe road hazard that could easily cause a multi-vehicle…

I am submitting this formal statement regarding a severe, recurring safety hazard involving sudden engine stalling and internal mechanical noise on my 2026 Chevrolet Silverado 1500.The vehicle has experienced multiple sudden engine stalls during low-speed deceleration, specifically while letting off the accelerator pedal to execute low-speed turns into parking lots. When the stall occurs, the engine dies completely, causing an immediate and dangerous loss of power steering and power braking…

Catastrophic Engine failure - Chevy, Silverado 1500, Yr: 2023; Odometer: 33,183: On 8/16/2026 we were traveling down a busy highway towing our camper and the engine completely stopped, no propulsion, no warning lights, no check engine lights; complete failure; we had to coast to side of road. The only thing that indicated a problem is that we started hearing what sounded like marbles rattling, it wasn't loud but noticeable. We pulled over at gas station to check oil, even though we just had…

My 2026 Chevrolet Silverado experienced catastrophic engine failure at approximately 12,000 miles. The vehicle was out of service from June 19, 2026 through August 27, 2026 while the engine was replaced. This is our family vehicle and is regularly used to transport my two young children. I remain concerned about the safety and adequacy of the remedy following such an early catastrophic engine failure. I requested that GM repurchase the vehicle or provide trade assistance so that I could move my…

Complete brake system, master cylinder, pads, rotors. Only 75000+- miles. Morning start and the brakes are locked up. Had to get towed and the entire system needed to be replaced. So after several days and almost $5,000 I started driving home. After about 5 miles something fell off the front brakes and bounced along underneath but I was close to home so I continued and didn't need to apply the brakes until my driveway and then a terrible grinding sound. Called the dealer (Modern Chevrolet)…
