Chevrolet Corvette

I bought this vehicle in XXX with about 39k miles. About a year after purchase, I began smelling gasoline in my garage after I filled the tank. I have consulted Corvette forum ([XXX]) and find this is a common problem. If I fill the tank more than halfway, it seems to occur consistently. The contact owns a 2003 Chevrolet Corvette. The contact stated that while reversing from the driveway, the vehicle lost motive power. The contact stated that the vehicle was previously repaired under NHTSA Campaign Number: 04V060000 (Steering). The vehicle was towed to the dealer, who replaced the relay and wiring harness kit. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, and a case was filed. The failure mileage was approximately 5,111.

At 23000 miles the right rear wheel cracked. I have a 2023 Corvette stingray HTC with the 20 wheels. The option code for this original GM wheel is Q8Q, 20 rear carbon flash painted aluminum wheels with machined edge. This is a common problem and has been reported by many corvette owners on several corvette forums. I do not track my car and have new tires. GM again ignores this safety item. I am writing regarding my 2026 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray 1LT and a very serious safety incident that occurred while driving on the Garden State Parkway.
