Auto hold was on, radar cruise control was set and as I was merging in traffic a sharp smell of burning started. The cruise control refused to disengage until I parked the car in garage. Eventually burn smell ended but seems like brake was stuck while acceleration causing a burn smell. It seems like brake could get stuck to wheels perhaps when auto hold is on even when driving? Auto break hold is a feature which keeps the break on while car is stopped.

Torque converters are going out and causing people to need new transmissions. I was told by dealership that evaluated mine this is a known problem! I’ve also encountered others who have same issue with their cars.

1. Vehicle completely shut off at a stoplight during the nighttime. The vehicle lost all power including lights, hazard lights, horn and electrical system. Would not start back up for several minutes while sitting in the middle of the highway during the nighttime, creating an immediate safety hazard in traffic. Vehicle self-corrected after a few minutes.

Driving this vehicle in cruise control at around 70-80 mph, on an empty freeway early in the morning. No traffic but suddenly and for no reason the collision prevention system activated causing the steering wheel to turn all the way to the right and locking in place, the brakes activating, and leaving me no control sending me and two passengers in an embankment and the car on its passenger side.

My wife and I were just driving and suddenly the motor started stopping installing. We managed to get over toward the curb and shut the motor off and restart it. Then it ran normal. When it did stall out, and we made it to the curb, it shut itself off. That was yesterday then this morning it started to do it a little bit when we left the house.

Shift to park displays on dash when put in park after I turn the car off. Have to turn the car back on shift from park to drive several times before it finally goes off. Something going on with backup camera when backing up it not always comes up on interior display monitor. The outlet in the console dc outlet not working had it looked at several times the mechanics can't figure out what the issue is all fuses are good And a few times couldn't stat the car after shift to park display pops up…
