Chevrolet Equinox

The piston rings or something in the engine is wrong as to where there is massive oil consumption. When this is happening and my car gets empty quickly it is stalling while I am driving and it's hard to get acceleration which is dangerous when I'm on the road in one of the biggest cities in my state.

Door handles retract, but often the motor goes out causing them to no longer stick out when trying to gain entry. This could heavily delay any rescue attempt.

Door handles fail to present, and have to be opened manually. This has happened to one handle, that I have had fixed (driver door) and is now happening to another (rear passenger door). While the door handles can be opened manually, it takes two hands to open, which would be difficult to do in an emergency. What's more, the door handle flips back quickly when opened manually, resulting in possible injury due to getting fingers caught.

The factory wheels on my 2025 Chevrolet Equinox EV suffer from a recurring structural defect. Within just over a year of ownership, two separate factory wheels have cracked under normal driving conditions on standard highway imperfections without hitting major potholes. The door handles are hidden/flush into the door when driving or locked. They pop out electronically when the car unlocked. However, my door handle is faulty and they do not pop out anymore. There is no way to grab the handle and open the door. This is a safety hazard. In a fire or other emergency, there is no immediate way to grab the door handle and open the door.
