I am extremely disappointed with the way Ford has handled the recall on the rearview camera for my 2016 Ford Escape. I received the recall notice about a year ago. Six months ago, I contacted Chapman Ford and was told the replacement parts were not yet available and that I would be notified when they came in. Multiple instances of low power to ignition coils (all of have been replaced with new coils and plugs). Transmission immediately stopped transmitting power to the wheels and would not re-engage. Transmission would sometimes go into gear, but slam into gear, lurch, or only shift into 1 or 2.

The truck exhibited the abrupt downshifting upon driving out of the parking lot, this caused great stress and possible accidents to me and family. The transmission continued to get worse and we were in fear of our lives to drive the vehicle on the highway. Truck has just started misfiring out of the blue, have had Ford dealerships look at it, have changed all 6 spark plugs and one ignition coil. The recall NHTSA 2025-366 may be the reason, it states there still is no remedy for this, recall was issued 1 year ago, July 2025. I need this remedy.

The vehicle experienced engine failure due to coolant intrusion into the cylinders on the engine. I've experienced engine misfires, rough running, check engine light, and I'm worried I'm going to see an eventual engine failure requiring engine replacement. When in drive , going in to park, as soon as you turn dial, it jumps to park, so no neutral or reverse capability. And pops a code of Shift system fault.

I am filing this complaint regarding my Ford F-350, VIN [XXX], which caught fire on June 30. The truck had approximately 130,000 miles, which I consider low mileage for a properly maintained diesel Ford F-350. These trucks are known for long service life, and many Ford diesel trucks routinely remain in service for 20 years or more and exceed 250,000 miles when properly maintained. Transmission. Dealership service department stating torque converter internally failed. Need a new transmission or rebuild. The car is shuddering, does not take off smoothly, and jerks when accelerating and turning.

driving approximately 20 miles an hour, gently applying the brake as I was approaching a stoplight when the brake suddenly engaged forcefully causing the car to jerk to a stop unexpectedly. There was a warning across the dash that said forward collision is not available and that disappeared. A local dealership said this was an ABS issue and reprogrammed it.
