Infotainment screen went entirely black, causing a driver distraction and making vehicle features inaccessible. Rear camera works. Identical to current APIM overheating recall. Carson city ford has been unable to diagnose issue claiming software glitch or corruption. Dealer asking for out of pocket cost to “repair” with no resolution 4 days later while vehicle has been at dealer. This is a manufacturing issue causing consumer safety liability. Ford is responsible for cost and repair.
