This Maverick truck has developed a Strong shake upon acceleration. Noticeable lower speeds at acceleration or load. Front passenger side. The tires have been rebalanced, rotated, and even purchased new after irregular front passenger tire wear. 50K Continental tires worn out at 24K. No bent rims, no warped tires. Defective spot welds of interior door hinges bind resulting in destruction of 3 remaining spot welds making door inoperable, not closing correctly, damaging other hinge and locking mechanisms. Local and corporate denied. out of warranty at 42645 miles.

Twice in the last two months the vehicle completely lost the ability to accelerate while driving. While the vehicle was in motion, the accelerator lost all tension and you could put your foot the floor without the vehicle moving. Loud Knocking from engine, CEL illuminated flashing, loss in power and had an active misfire in cyl #2. Upon inspection cyl #2 Spark plug electrode broke off/melted into the cylinder causing a gauge in the cylinder. Vehicle is being dropped off to the dealer for most likely an engine replacement.

Radio sound will not work

Vibration and shrouding under light and heavy acceleration, the harder the acceleration the stronger the vibration, feels like truck is falling apart.

Truck started to shake when accelerating past 50 mph. The shaking would stop once the speed limit was reached and you let off the accelerator. Web search results showed 2022, 2023 & 2024 Ford Maverick hybrids are known for CV axle failures with those symptoms. Vehicle was around 48,000 miles. Dealership replaced both CV axles under the 5 year/60,000 mile warranty.
