Ford Flex

Rearview camera was recalled almost 2 years ago and still no replacement parts available and the rearview camera in my vehicle does have the issue described. Whenever I put my car in reverse 1 of the following happens every time - Blue screen - Black screen - Image upside down - Distorted image with lines through it and upside down - Distorted image with lines through it and rightside up - No image with Camera unavailable message

The local dealer was contacted and had replaced the part on three separate occasions. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The failure mileage was 70,000.

The radio/navigation system is having issues. Randomly the radio/nagvation system has a loud static crackling noise during use. It will make those sounds and then stops producing any kind of sounds of the speakers. No sound will come from the radio(fm, am, Bluetooth, aux, hands free calling or navigation).
