2018 FORD F-150

multi-component engine failure while being operated under normal driving conditions. Despite rigorous, routine, and fully documented preventive maintenance performed in accordance with manufacturer specifications, the vehicle suffered an instantaneous breakdown of its core mechanical systems. A diagnostic assessment confirmed that a sweeping array of vital engine components—including the cam phasers, turbocharger, lifters, timing chain, and associated valvetrain assemblies—all failed…

2014 FORD F-150

I brought my 2014 Ford F-150 to Gentilini Ford in Woodbine NJ in response to recall notice number 24S37 on XXX for an issue with the molded leadframe on the 6R80 transmission. The recall gave the option of reprogramming the existing leadframe or replacing the leadframe. My leadframe was reprogrammed and not replaced. Shortly after the recall while driving back to [XXX] from NC, the transmission dropped into first gear while cruising down a narrow road causing the back tires to chirp. …

This vehicle has occasional issues where the vehicle camera freezes and blacks out when backing up. This vehicle has a similar issue to another recall that was issued on a newer vehicle in our fleet, which was a 2022 Ford F-150 and was included in the NHTSA Recall 25V315/Safety Recall Notice 25S49. This vehicle has been regularly serviced and inspected by the Dublin City Shop.

2019 FORD F-150

While driving on the highway at approximately 65mph the trucks display showed that the transmission shifted from 9th gear down to 1st gear, the truck however did not stall or shift hard. Shortly after the Ford pass sent a message stating there is a power train malfunction / reduced power. And that the transmission control module has detected a concern when trying to shift 4th gear. And a failsafe logic disabled 4th gear for the remainder of the key cycle.

My local Ford Dealer (Tallahassee Ford) which I had just purchased the vehicle from two weeks prior. Refused to repair NHTSA Recall Number26V237 they wanted to charge me over 2000 dollars to fix even though it has a recall. I ended up getting the lead frame replaced at a local transmission shop for little over 1000 dollars. I would like to be reimbursed for the money and time I spent.

2013 FORD F-150

My teenage son bought a used 2013 Ford F-150 with 111,000 miles on it about a year and a half ago. It had been running fine up until about 3 months ago when he started having issues with the transmission intermittently jumping gears while he is driving. The vehicle jumps to 3rd and 5th gear out of nowhere and then doesn't come out of that gear. Even when you turn it off and back on, the vehicle will stay in 3rd or 5th gear and then randomly fix itself. There are other times where the vehicle…

2018 FORD F-150

Approximately four months ago, my truck started shifting hard going into second gear, then it quickly became jerky shifting in other gears with slippage, dangerous hesitation and engagement problems. It was so bad that I was almost rear-ended 3 times. Then the hesitation happened more often and a few times lost all power to transmission, and I had to stop in moving traffic for the transmission to find a gear. Very dangerous situation! A few weeks later, sudden downshifts for no reason were…

2017 FORD F-150

Filed Jul 20, 2026

The contact owns a 2017 Ford F-150. The contact stated that rainwater was leaking from the headliner and caused water damage to the front seats and carpet, and there was mold inside the headliner of the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to the dealer on several occasions, and the moon roof seals were replaced and the drainage tubes were installed, but the failure persisted. The vehicle was recently taken to a second dealer who diagnosed that the water was entering the vehicle from the rear of the…
