The contact owns a 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle became inoperable and the vehicle stalled, and the gear shifter was inoperable. Ongoing issues with forward facing radar preventing collision assistance and adaptive cruise control along with lane keep assist from working. Ford knows about this. There is even a TSB. A car manufactured in an era that requires collision prevention should not be allowed to have significant camera faults that prevent safety systems from functioning properly. Vehicle in question had problems since day. One computer was affected was never fixed. Many problems ended up in agency for repairs a total of 9 1/2 months and I’ve only have a three year lease on the vehicle and have not been able to use it fully because of electrical and further issues. Litigation found with my attorneys and Ford attorneys, that the vehicle had multiple problems and was issued by a judge, repayment and penalties.

The front camera system does not function which causes all forward collision safety features to become unavailable, as well as any cruise control or automatic high beam lights. Seems to be a common issues and is related to faulty fiber optic cables.

I was driving normally at about 45 mph with no strong acceleration, after about 20 minutes of driving...
