The contact owns a 2019 Ford Edge. The contact stated that while driving 25 MPH, the accelerator pedal was depressed; however, the vehicle failed to accelerate as intended. Rear drivers side brake line ruptured, leaving the vehicle unsafe to drive. The ruptured happened at a bend in the hard brake line at the top of the gas tank.

Shuddering and jerking from 20-40 mph. Dealer reports torque converter and planetary gear problems requiring expensive repairs or replacement of the transmission.

I took my 2014 Ford Edge in for an annual inspection and discovered severe rust over the entire frame and a large hole rusted through the subframe. The car did not brake randomly back in may when I was picking my toddler up from school. The vehicle reserve coolant tank is showing low and in need of coolant after a recent oil/fluid service.
