2019 TOYOTA AVALON

Filed Jul 21, 2026

On XXX I purchase the vehicle TOYOTA AVALON XSE, with VIN #: [XXX]. I purchase the vehicle at LARRY [XXX] AMERICAN TOYOTA in [XXX], with the LIEN [XXX] KIRTLAND FEDERAL CREDIT UNION BANK same city of [XXX]. I was told the vehicle had a 160 point check, yet when I check the THUMB DRIVE that was given to me by the business personnel. When I looked at the thumb drive, their were signed documents between myself and the business department of [XXX] American Toyota. I asked several of the salesperson…

2026 TOYOTA CAMRY HYBRID

Filed Jul 21, 2026

Passenger seat constantly popping when braking or accelerating. You can also feel a large bag in the lower lumbar area. All very uncomfortable for what I thought would be the best car we have ever owned. Very disappointed in Toyota, as seat popping happened in 2025 models too

2022 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER

Filed Jul 21, 2026

In the past 3 days, the trunk of the vehicle has opened on its own even though it was locked. This has also happened 3 additional times in the past since I have taken it to the Toyota service center in Fairlawn, NJ. I am concerned because yesterday, I was at a supermarket and was inside for about 15 minutes and when I came out, the back was opened. This has not happened while I was driving but I was fortunate that nothing was taken from the vehicle.

2023 TOYOTA TUNDRA

Filed Jul 21, 2026

Recall # 25V767 has been open since November 6, 2025 and the remedy is not yet available. There is a possibility that certain machining debris may not have been cleared from the engine when it was produced which can lead to potential engine knocking, engine rough running, engine no start, and/or a loss of motive power. I am concerned about this being a major safety issue and also concerned about the fact that the recall has been open since November 2025 and there is still no remedy.

2015 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER

The paint is severely peeling on the outside. This can likely flake off and damages other vehicles, property, and roadway infrastructure. This is the factory coat of paint. Color is Toyota Blizzard Pearl (070)

2026 TOYOTA BZ

Filed Jul 21, 2026

Vehicle purchased late March. Since then, the 12V gets completely drained to 0% over the weekend. This is a biweekly problem. Vehicle taken to dealership, they were not able to replicate problem. Dealership claims battery and vehicle perfectly fine. 12V battery continues to get discharged. This issue puts the customer at risk of being stranded on trips. No warning lamps or symptoms before battery dies making vehicle completely inoperable. Research online and owner forums clearly show a large…

2024 TOYOTA LAND CRUISER HYBRID

Filed Jul 21, 2026

Electric oil pump for transmission failed at 16,000 miles -no immediate safety risk to my knowledge -the problem was reported by me and acknowledged by Toyota dealership (San Rafael) and replaced under factory warranty -I do not know if failed part was inspected by Toyota, police or insurance - was not to my knowledge -No warning prior to failure

2023 TOYOTA SEQUOIA HYBRID

Filed Jul 21, 2026

Formal complaint that 2022 thru 2025 Toyota Sequoia equipped with the 3.4L twin-turbo V6 engine architecture (V35A-FTS) suffering from the notorious main bearing failure be included in the current recall of 2022 thru 2025 Toyota Tundra. If the engine block mechanically seizes, the entire drivetrain locks up, rendering the hybrid backup ineffective, creating a major safety issue. (NHTSA Campaign 25V767)

2021 TOYOTA COROLLA

Filed Jul 21, 2026

This Toyota Corolla hatchback is experiencing an issue where it is constantly giving an “ENGINE MAINTENANCE REQUIRED” light and when scanned, it says “coolant bypass valve malfunction”. There is already a recall for many Toyota Corolla Sedans experiencing this issue of this bypass valve being defective, but because this is a hatchback, it is not part of the recall when it should be. There is already a recall for vehicles affected with this issue: T-SB-0112-24

2008 TOYOTA SEQUOIA

Filed Jul 21, 2026

While accelerating to pass a vehicle that was signaling and operating well below the speed limit, my vehicle experienced sudden and continued unintended acceleration. I was able to bring the vehicle to a stop while fighting against the engine within an intersection but the engine continued building revs, bouncing off the limiter while my foot was entirely removed from the accelerator pedal and fully applied to the brake. During this time I had moved the gear selector to neutral, only furthering…
