Recall was issued a year ago on my engine and toyota has yet to do anything about the recall. There is also a second recall for ym tailights , this has been over a year since the recall was issued. First they told me i was to get a new engine in june of 2026. Then in may of 2026 they told me a software test will be completed first to determine if my truck needs a engine. The contact owns a 2022 Toyota Tundra. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V322000 (Exterior Lighting); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure.

My truck showed “Hybrid Engine Malfunction contact dealer” upon start up, then “Reduced Engine Performance Check Engine” warnings. frame and brake systems are severely rusted. has been undercoated many times but frame is rusting from inside out in the boxed portions and is delaminating from double layered reinforced areas. Toyota had a recall for some of these models but this one was not included for some reason. I have a 1997 model Toyota suv that has no rust compared to this 2005 model.
