GMC

Recall n242490120 was corrected on 6/10/25. Grill has since blown off while driving ,couldn’t retrieve it, and caused a chip on my windshield. Recall was for front grille deflector. Dear Learship that repaired it said they were only authorized once to repair and it would be out of pocket expense to repair again.

Severe Engine Knock

We own 2026 GMC Yukon XL Denali with 6.2L V8 engine with just under 4600 miles. On Monday October 19, 2026 while driving the engine seized up. It is at dealer and the are replacing the engine, radiator and about 65 other parts under hood. We do have a very short phone video of the noise it made right as it seized up!! We heard about investigation ongoing and wanted to help.

Upper grille deflector broke off without impact at highway speed.

When putting the vehicle in park to turn it off, the dash indicates that I need to put the vehicle in park. But it is in park and it will not let me shut off the vehicle.

The driver side head light developed a stress fracture on the first cold day we had in Long Island. It has been looked at by the dealer SuN gmc who are denying responsibility and claiming it was damaged by a rock. There is no visible damage to the outside of the light.

I had driven about 30 minutes on the Interstate at highway speeds and had just exited the Interstate and the truck made a horrible noise, shut off, and the transmission threw itself into park at about 10 mph. The contact owns a 2023 GMC Sierra 1500. The contact stated that while the vehicle was in reverse(R), the rear-view camera froze and occasionally glitched. The failure was a recurring failure. The contact associated the failure with Technical Service Bulletin: PIT6369B. The dealer was contacted. The manufacturer was contacted and made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 60,000.

Purchased this 2022 GMC AT4 2500HD in 2022. Drove off the lot and traveled 40 miles home. Got hom,000e and pulled out of my driveway and noticed terrible bump in second gear I believe. Notified dealer and returned truck for them to replace 2 valve bodies.
