2015 JEEP WRANGLER
Filed Jul 21, 2026
About a year ago my dashboard lit-up with a variety of ABS warning lights. My diagnostic module indicated a failure of the ABS module. I paid over $1400 for the part from Mopar and am still waiting with no guaranteed delivery date. Mopar calls the part a special order, but should be part of the standard parts repair inventory. The braking has become unreliable (or mushy) with extreme swerving on sudden breaking. Evidently, this is a wide-spread problem being experienced by many Jeep…
2016 JEEP WRANGLER
Filed Jul 21, 2026
The ABS control module has internal problem which shuts down the module. Results of the module shut down includes: -The stability and traction systems are offline. -A failure in the ABS module or hydraulic unit. -Cruise Control inoperable. -The module no longer modulates brake pressure, which can result in brakes locking. Currently, Mopar has stopped production of this item, so there is no method to replace a failed or non-working module with an original part.

2024 JEEP WRANGLER
Filed Jul 21, 2026
1. What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? The engine unexpectedly shut down while I was driving my 2024 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon at approximately 30 mph. There was no apparent cause for the shutdown. 2. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? The sudden engine shutdown caused an unexpected loss of power while the vehicle was moving in traffic. This created a safety hazard because I could no longer maintain speed and was…
2022 JEEP RENEGADE
Filed Jul 21, 2026
While having my car serviced my mechanic informed me that I have an oil leak (and told me time to get rid of it). He did some searching and found that there is a safety-related issue and to take it to a dealer for repair. I have only had this jeep barely over two years. I have been smelling the car hot while driving it or after turning it off. Even my daughter has commented on it. There has only been one dash light come on but I don't remember what it was. My mechanic is keeping an eye on it.…
2024 JEEP WAGONEER
Filed Jul 21, 2026
The engine shuts off unexpectedly when the automatic start stop system engages. At the same time the engine shuts off, the power steering warning light illuminates and steering assist is lost. The vehicle must be restarted to regain power steering and continue driving. This has occurred on multiple occasions, including while the vehicle was slowing to a stop in traffic. The sudden loss of steering assist while the vehicle is in motion presents an immediate safety risk to the driver, passengers,…
2024 JEEP WRANGLER

My jeep bricked and would would not move. I reset uconnect to get it to my house and had it towed to the dealership. They performed a temporary fix. However, since 10/2026 there has been no final fix. I’m not sure how safe I am to drive this car I spent $63,000 on or how long is reasonable for a fix.
2018 JEEP COMPASS
Filed Jul 21, 2026
For at least two months the driver's seat belt buckle intermittently unlatches or won't stay latched in my 2018 Jeep Compass. Because it's a critical safety component, I hope that Jeep may offer a goodwill repair or replacement, especially because the failure is due to a defective buckle.
2006 JEEP LIBERTY
Filed Jul 21, 2026
ball joint recall was issues and done on paper in August 2006 on the Jeep liberty. Both ball joint have failed on this vehicle at different times this year while driving the vehicle and Jeep has declined to take any responsibility in any way. This is a major safety concern as any kind of speed while this occurs would be catastrophic. I suspect that Jeep submitted that the recall was fixed when in fact it was not and documents were falsified.
2020 JEEP WRANGLER
Filed Jul 21, 2026
While driving, the Instrument Cluster Display completely blanked out and ceased functioning. This sudden failure immediately disabled the digital speedometer, fuel gauge, engine temperature readings, oil gauge, and critical safety warning lights. In order to check my fuel levels, I have to log into an app on my phone, which is both unsafe and illegal to do while driving. The panel beeps a warning when I start my car, however I cannot see what the issue is because the display is black. Other…
