An authorized dealership performed the federal safety (Safety Recall 01C) software update on my 2017 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. UNKNOWN I have had this jeep to 3 different dealerships multiple times over the 2 years I have owned it. I am getting my 3rd set of tires put on today. I have put approx 30k on it. Dead Battery. The Telematics Bix Module (TBM) is failing to properly shut off when the car is parked. Therefore it induces a parasitic drain on the battery. We have had the battery replaced by the dealer. This problem is known to affect 2022-2025 models.

On 2/2/26 I took my vehicle to Thomson Motor Company to have the 68c recall repair completed. On 2/5/26 my car wouldn’t start and I was stranded.
