2023 JEEP GRAND WAGONEER

Filed Jul 8, 2026

My 2023 Jeep Grand Wagoneer has experienced repeated safety-related defects involving the body, electrical, and powertrain systems despite 6 warranty repair visits. The vehicle has been out of service 72 cumulative days, and the current repair still ongoing. Before the most serious incident, the vehicle had already been returned to authorized Jeep dealerships multiple times for liftgate malfunctions. The liftgate repeatedly failed to open, failed to close properly, and exhibited intermittent…

2017 JEEP CHEROKEE

An authorized dealership performed the federal safety (Safety Recall 01C) software update on my 2017 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. Two days and 160 miles later, the vehicle suffered a dangerous highway loss of propulsion. This software update failed to protect the physical drivetrain components from catastrophic failure.

UNKNOWN I have had this jeep to 3 different dealerships multiple times over the 2 years I have owned it. I am getting my 3rd set of tires put on today. I have put approx 30k on it. It is eating tires. Down to the belt. The vehicle starts to vibrate at 70mph. I just had it aligned in March 2026, they said tires were fine. Vehicle started to vibrate at high speeds again and I took it in. It is so far out of alignment that the belts are showing on the front right tire. I smell burning…

2022 JEEP CHEROKEE

Filed Jul 8, 2026

My 2022 Jeep Cherokee Lux is currently at the dealership after they diagnosed a failed PTU. This came to my attention due to the messages the vehicle gave me, warning if Loss of 4WD capability and a Serv 4 WD light. Jeep has recalled over 61000 other Cherokees for the exact same problem. We are currently waiting for approval to repair from an Extended Warranty Company (Portfolio) which is delaying things, plus the dealership has already said part if backordered, they say approximately 15 days,…

2024 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE L

Dead Battery. The Telematics Bix Module (TBM) is failing to properly shut off when the car is parked. Therefore it induces a parasitic drain on the battery. We have had the battery replaced by the dealer. This problem is known to affect 2022-2025 models.

On 2/2/26 I took my vehicle to Thomson Motor Company to have the 68c recall repair completed. On 2/5/26 my car wouldn’t start and I was stranded. My vehicle was towed back to the same repair facility. On 2/6/26 they told me that my regular battery died and had to be replaced. After researching when the hybrid battery is re-coded/reprogrammed from the recall, it causes the regular battery to die due to and system overload to the regular battery. The dealer wouldn’t take responsibility or Jeep…
