Jeep Compass

The contact owns a 2024 Jeep Compass. The contact stated that while the rear lift gate door was opened as intended, the rear lift gate failed to support the rear trunk upward. No warning light illuminated. The vehicle was diagnosed at the contact's residence by an authorized Jeep mechanic; however, the failure was not identified. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 20,000.

Multiple critical safety systems fail intermittently: Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) disables itself randomly while driving, Lane Steering Assist becomes unavailable, frequent ‘Service 4WD’ warnings, and ‘Power Steering System Hot - Performance May Be Limited’ warning. Steering rack needs to be replaced per dealership. Reported loud clunking noise when turning. Not covered under warranty. Was told it was regular car maintenance. 49k miles with bumper to bumper expired a month before complaint. Have noted in forums multiple complaints for same issue yet jeep refuses to cover.

Everytime I drive my vehicle all the ADAS lights go off and start dinging. I then reset the ones I can in the vehicle settings and drive to my destination. I shut off the car and when I come back and start it all the lights come back on again. This has been happening since I purchased the vehicle a year ago with under 40000 miles and Jeep didn't help me and refused to fix the issue. I have made multiple complaints to Jeep and my local Jeep dealership and they have been no help.

We purchased our 2024 jeep Compass on 12-10-2024 with about 3,000 miles on it. Our problems started on the vehicle on or about Nov. 2025. First the lane assist would go out and we were unable to turn it back on, when we tried the light in the button would blink 2 times then stay on. I have to continually add motor oil to my engine. Every 1,000-1,500 miles I need a quart of oil added. There should be a recall to address this issue.

While turning out of a parking lot, onto a side street, a suspension component failed without warning, causing the front axle to pull out of the transmission. The adaptive cruise, automatic emergency braking, and forward collision warning turns off randomly and the warning lights come on saying they are not working and to take it to the dealership. UNKNOWN On just a regular day the vehicle stop showing on the screen the camera to back up , and glitching . The whole screen went out slowly by slowly . One day the screen lights up and you can see camera to warn you on cars and the next it doesn’t show anything on screen and it turns black . You can’t even read the temperature either because the screen blacks out or starts glitching really bad. I went to dealership and no recalls on that particular item .
