2019 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE

Filed Jul 23, 2026

2019 Jeep grand Cherokee, noticed to have leaking water pump, engine showed no signs of overheating. Water pump and thermostat changed due to a small fluctuating of temp gauge but never over the half way mark. Took it in for diagnostics, which, after reading many reviews of ongoing issues with head gaskets in jeeps, even after Jeep said they remedy it in 2016, I asked for diagnostics done on my radiator and head gaskets to only see it was in fact leaking head gaskets. There was no signs other…

Vehicle is an active fire hazard subject to the high-voltage battery recall (NHTSA 24V-718). The manufacturer's safety instructions require me to stop charging the vehicle and park it away from homes and structures. Because I am currently leasing this vehicle from Chrysler Capital and have no alternate transportation, I am forced to drive an active fire risk for daily transit. The local Jeep dealership has refused to provide a temporary loaner vehicle or rental accommodation while a final…

There is a serious malfunction between the hybrid and electric systems. The engine is making a loud noise, and neither the hybrid nor electric mode functions properly. In addition, the fuel and oil refresh warning remains on, even after refueling. These issues are ongoing and substantially impair the use, value, and safety of the vehicle. On January 2, 2026, and march 8 my Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe shut down twice while I was driving home on the freeway. This vehicle is not safe to operate under…

At the end of March 2026, the hybrid battery was replaced due to a recall by the dealership. After this, several software updates done, including the BCM, per technician's notes. In May 2026, my vehicle was found bricked in my driveway, unable to jump start, giving warnings regarding the dual charging system. After being towed to the dealership, they found my 12v battery was dead and stated that it needed to be replaced, which was done, with no further testing per technician's notes. Six weeks…

VEHICLE & PURCHASE DETAILS: 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee (3.6L V6 Pentastar Engine). Purchased on/around April 27 in agreement with my credit union. The contact owns a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee. While the contact's husband was driving approximately 72 MPH with the contact seated in the front passenger’s seat and two children in the rear seats, the occupants heard a loud bang coming from the rear of the vehicle. 2022 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE

I just experienced a 2nd engine stall event. I was driving thru a neighborhood at 25 mph in 5th gear, lifted off the gas pedal as I approached a 90 degree uphill turn, and in the middle of the turn (approx 20 mph) the engine stalled and I lost all propulsion. I retired from Stellantis after 16 years working as a contract transmission calibrator, so I am very familiar with what happened. When I lifted off the gas pedal the engine attempted to enter decel fuel shut off (dfso). I was watching…

The uconnect touch screen is delaminating. It is causing issues with being able to use the backup camera with accuracy because the delamination causes a visual distortion. Also, it has been causing issues with the controls where it repeatedly gets stuck and ghost touches options in the vehicle while driving, which is concerning. The delamination started as a small spot and has rapidly increased to half the screen. This is clearly a widespread chronic issue/defect with many Jeep GC models, if…
