We found a huge spillage in our driveway and it had a color of yellowish Brown. Took it to the dealership tech found oil and coolant were mixed together and coming out of the overflow tank. Because the oil in the coolant mixed together, it went through all the components in the engine and it is a total loss. The car does not work and it needs a new engine. Had another independent car shop. Look at the car in they agreed. We had no signs of warning of anything being wrong with the car. It ran…

I am writing to make you aware of a safety issue that I have encountered with my 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. On August 21, 2026, the gas pedal/throttle control just fell off as I was driving myself and infant on a busy three lane thoroughfare in [XXX]. I went to slow down the car by braking, but it was very difficult. I went into an empty bus lane so as not to get rear ended or crash into something. Finally, the car systems ceased. No warning lamps came on ever or any messages. I had…

The factory-installed 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen/display in my 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee is delaminating internally causing bubbling under the screen surface. The layers of the touchscreen are separating even though the screen has not been physically damaged. The Uconnect system and vehicle are available for inspection upon request. The delamination affects the touchscreen used to operate and display multiple vehicle functions. As the screen deteriorates, it can become difficult to read or…

2018 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE

Filed Sep 1, 2026

In approximately early to mid-August 2026, I was driving my 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee at approximately 40 mph when the passenger-side Active Head Restraint (AHR) suddenly deployed without any collision, rear impact, or other event that should have caused it to deploy. There was no passenger in the seat at the time, so fortunately no one was struck or injured. The vehicle had approximately 55,179 miles at the time of the incident. Its current mileage is 55,279 miles. Following the unexpected…

I recently was driving and my headlights went out, then smoke appeared on the passenger side of my car and immediately caught fire and my car was completely burned down.

2022 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE

My 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe has developed a recurring safety defect involving the front passenger seat lumbar-support system. Without any input from the passenger or driver, the pneumatic lumbar bladder will randomly begin inflating and continue until it reaches maximum inflation. When this occurs, the lumbar support protrudes significantly into the seatback and forces the passenger’s torso forward from the normal seated position. The passenger cannot reliably stop or reverse the inflation…

I have purchased brand new a 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee The engine is the new 4 cylinder hurricane engine with turbo I have had multiple incidents of flat to dull pick up when in motion between the speeds of 15-30 mph resulting in multiple near misses for serious accidents.
