This is in regards to my 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L, the rear coil spring has detached from its position while the vehicle was in park. I had spoken to Mopar representative for concern of what i have read on their recall, the rep. had told me that my vehicle was already checked and completed on July of 2023. So i asked her why did the spring coil detached while in park if the issue was completed. same as other owners that has similar issues on the recall that i have read on complaints. can you…

Upon starting my vehicle, my dashboard began flashing errors. All the indicator lights were lighted up (power steering, engine, collision detection, traction). The mileage began blinking on and off. Both of the light indicators on my side windows (for blindspot detection) were continuously illuminated even though I was parked and no vehicles were next to me. The error messages that were flashing on my dashboard were: Service Electronic Stability Control, Service Power Steering, Active Lane…

While driving 45mph along a straight, open highway my vehicle suddenly shifted itself to park and stopped itself abruptly. I was then unable to shift the car out of park or move the brake or gas pedal or turn off the vehicle. This lasted for approximately 15 minutes and the car would not let me open the doors. All the dashboard lights were illuminated and my driver display screen stated if I took my foot off the brake the car would reverse. Eventually after 15 minutes of trying to shift and…

The steering started to feel intermittently difficult and then would release. It has been looked at by 2 mechanics and they report that it appears to be a structural failure of the front strut. The strut tower has separated from the body, the adhesive has failed, the rivets have broken loose, and the movement is causing the strut tower to contact the steering shaft resulting in intermittent binding of the steering. All involved believe this is a serious safety defect and a manufacturing…

The contact owns a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L. The contact stated that while driving 20 MPH, the headlight high beams failed to automatically activate as designed. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer where it was diagnosed, and the contact was informed that the automatic high/low beam activation system was inoperable. However, the vehicle was not repaired because the dealer was unable to repair the vehicle. The contact referenced NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V130000 (EXTERIOR LIGHTING,…

The contact owns a 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L. The contact stated that while driving 60 MPH, the vehicle suddenly shut off. The contact was able to immediately restart the vehicle and continued driving. There were no warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and DTC: P032S was retrieved (insufficient torque produced by the engine). The dealer was unable to repair the vehicle because the failure could not be duplicated. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was…
2023 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE L
Filed Aug 21, 2026
Rear passenger side coil spring fell out. Vehicle was previously inspected and deemed not affected by the known coil spring recall by a CDJR service department. More recently deemed not included in the investigation looking into later ongoing issues. Currently the vehicle is in the possession of this service department awaiting parts and the Dealership is correcting or repairing via an extended warranty, also I will be paying my deductible with the warranty to complete the work.
2026 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE L
Filed Aug 21, 2026
I purchased a brand‑new 2026 Jeep in June 2026. Shortly after taking ownership, I began experiencing significant condensation and visible water buildup inside the tail lights. This is not minor moisture — there is standing water and heavy fogging that I have documented with clear, detailed photos. Despite providing this evidence, the dealership refuses to replace the tail lights, stating they “cannot duplicate the issue.” The water intrusion is recurring, and I have multiple documented…

The hood will pop open while driving. There is a safety catch so it won't open all the way but it urges you to get off the road. This has happened 3 times to me already. The last time was 8/4/26.

I am reporting recurring safety-related shifting and vehicle gear/park-state concerns involving my 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Summit Reserve. On multiple occasions, the vehicle has failed to transition properly from Reverse into Drive. I reported this Reverse-to-Drive issue to the manufacturer before later becoming aware of diagnostic information that I believed could potentially relate to the behavior. I am not a mechanic and do not know the underlying cause. On July 5, 2026, while my infant…
