2021 JEEP WRANGLER

The One Touch Power Roof has rails from side to side. Several of these have broken at their attachment to the track system. This has created several issues: 1) the roof is no longer leak proof, 2) it creates excessive noise at high way speed. I have not used this system much, so it is unclear why this failed. When I presented the car to the Jeep dealer service area, I was told the only solution is to replace the entire roof - several thousand dollars. There is no other fix. This is out of…

At highway speed, vehicle repeatedly started shaking and vibrating violently after hitting any bump or uneven portion of the roadway. Steering became extremely difficult to control and was completely useless for a period of time. A vehicle that loses the ability to steer at highway speeds puts everyone at risk of accident/death. In looking online, this has been experienced by many people and is referred to as the death wobble. There were no warnings that this was going to occur. Vehicle…

The IPC Cluster completely blank. Unsafe to operate vehicle, as speed was unknown, unable to read fuel gauges, and unable to see any warning lights. Experienced the exact problem noted in Recall Campaign 30B/NHTSA 24-V 652 for jeeps with the 3.5 inch cluster layout, and my VIN is not listed on the recall list.

During a yearly safety inspection it was noted that 3 of my 4 shock absorbers are leaking and it would not pass PA safety inspection without replacement.

The car does not ride properly...it stops suddenly, it jolts, it vibrates, the battery sounds like it is overworking or overheating. Our plug-in charger caught fire and when we found out there was a recall on the battery we brought it to Jeep and they told us it's fine. But, it's not fine. It completely stalled while driving this morning and feels like it's going to blow up. I no longer feel safe driving it as it keeps jolting, stopping and feeling like it's going to explode.

Vehicle went into “limp mode” as I was entering an intersection. Pressed accelerator to the floor and vehicle would only sputter and crawl slowly. Vehicle towed to dealership. My safety and the safety of others was put at risk as the vehicle, without warning, essentially stalled while driving. If there were other vehicles on the roadway, this could have easily caused an an accident with injuries or worse. Yes the problem was comfirmed by the dealership. Yes the vehicle has been…

Getting the well know Jeep Death Wobble. Was advised by Carvana when I bought this vehicle that it had an open recall for this exact issue (Manufacturer Recall Number CDJR XF1) due to the Steering Damper having air in it. However, when I contacted a Jeep dealership to get it fixed, I was told there is no recall for the Steering Damper for my specific vehicle. When I look it up on NHTSA, there isn't a recall listed on here either. Whenever I hit transitions in the pavement while driving above…

2018 Jeep Wrangler rubber brake lines collapsing internally, trapping hydraulic fluid pressure, and causing front brakes to overheat/lock up. Happened last year on my driver's side. It completely locked up my caliper. Ended up replacing Front Driver Hose & Caliper. And both Front Rotors and Brake Pads. Now its currently happening to my passenger side. This time its actually causing a burning smell. Last year it did not it was just grinding. Been for a few months. At first I though it was my…
2014 JEEP WRANGLER

The ABS control module on my 2014 Jeep Wrangler JK failed approximately four years ago. Since that time, I have been unable to obtain a replacement module through Jeep/Mopar, leaving the vehicle without properly functioning ABS and related electronic stability/traction-control safety systems. I was initially told the replacement part was on backorder and waited for an extended period (August 2022). In January 2026, I contacted my Jeep dealer checking on the status of my quote q96683 from…

The contact owns a 2018 Jeep Wrangler. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, there was an abnormal burning odor inside the vehicle. No warning lights were illuminated. In addition, the accelerator pedal was depressed; however, the vehicle failed to accelerate as intended. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, and the contact was informed that parts for a recall repair might have been replaced with defective parts. The contact was informed that there was no failure and…
