Audible clicking/knocking sound when turning left or right sharply at low speeds.

2025 HONDA CR-V

Filed Sep 3, 2026

the CMBS, auto braking system is engaging and BRAKING my car for no reason. For example, driving 70mph on turnpike, it engaged on a dry road, clear day with no other cars or items in front of me. VERY dangerous. vehicles behind me could have crashed into me. happened at least 2 more times on 35/40mph with NOTHING on road. the only thing i can do is disengage it EVERY single time i start the engine. Took to my Moon Township dealer who said it can happen and sent me home. THIS IS…

2020 HONDA PASSPORT

Filed Sep 3, 2026

I own a 2020 Honda Passport Elite with approximately 63,000 miles. The infotainment display intermittently goes completely black while driving. When this occurs, the rearview camera also becomes unavailable. I have also experienced crackling or electrical-type noise through the speakers during the problem. The problem is intermittent. The system may operate normally for an extended period and then suddenly fail. On several occasions, the display went black, returned to normal, and then went…

2024 HONDA CR-V

Filed Sep 3, 2026

I own a 2024 Honda CR-V EX-L with approximately 59,628 miles. While driving the vehicle, multiple warning lights began flashing on the dashboard. At the same time, the vehicle became difficult to drive and did not feel as though it was operating normally. I was concerned for my safety because the problem occurred while the vehicle was being driven. The vehicle was taken to two different authorized Honda dealership for diagnosis. I was informed that the fuel injectors had failed and needed to…

Steering wheel gets stuck on highway driving and hard to make fine adjustments without force

2021 HONDA ODYSSEY

Filed Sep 3, 2026

The infotainment system and back up camera screen went completely black. We took it to Howdy Honda since there was a NHTSA Recall 23V-482 that they had fixed once before. Now though, they are saying the issue isn't covered by safety recall and that we have to pay $6900 to have it repaired. However this faulty camera system is a known issue. In addition to the recall, there has also been a class-action lawsuit filed Mar. 22, 2019 in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of…

2019 HONDA PILOT

Filed Sep 3, 2026

My engine light came on, and the codes reported were P0441 P04F1 U0401 and P0172. I took the car to the dealer for a diagnostic and they stated it was the fuel injectors. Their is a TSB 21-010 related to this situation, however my car's vin wasn't covered by the TSB. I have two coworkers with the same engine, and they had the same issues and were covered on the TSB. I spoke with my local shop to get a quote and they mentioned doing a lot of fuel injector replacement on Honda lately. It seems…

2022 HONDA PILOT

Filed Sep 3, 2026

My vehicle is equipped with Honda's Auto Idle Stop system. While driving, the vehicle has chronically suffered from a slow crank symptom. On two occasions, after coming to a complete stop at an intersection and the engine shutting off automatically, the vehicle completely failed to auto-restart when required, taking considerable time to restart and enter Drive. No warning lights or error codes were displayed on the dashboard during or leading up to or after these failures. One of these…

2025 HONDA ODYSSEY

Filed Sep 3, 2026

It was approximately 8:45 pm at night. I was sitting in my 2025 Honda Odyssey stopped at a red light with my foot on the brake. There were no other cars in front or behind me. It was a long light so the car engine stopped as it usually does due to its auto start-stop system to conserve gas (although electricity in the car remained on). However, when the light turned green, I took my foot off the brake and pressed the accelerator. At that moment, the entire car shut off unexpectedly, including…

NHTSA Recall 19V-299 / Honda Campaign Z4J. Sudden gear refusal, shifting malfunctions, and stalling. The premature structural failure of my 10-speed transmission is a direct consequence of the known factory software defect that violently shifts the car into Park while moving.
