Engine began running rough and warning lights came on the dash indicating multiple issues and the engine light. Brought it to Honda and the tech diagnosed a head gasket failure. Honda recommended a head gasket repair. Car only has 137,000 miles on it.

2018 HONDA ACCORD

Filed May 28, 2026

I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding my 2018 Honda Accord [VIN# [XXX] ] concerning what I believe to be a defective cylinder head or head gasket — an issue I have since learned is widely reported within the Honda owner community and is currently the subject of active class action litigation. Beginning at approximately 89,000 miles, my vehicle began experiencing episodes of engine rumbling followed by sudden shutoff. These episodes occurred two to three times before I brought the…

VEHICLE: 2019 Honda Accord LX SUMMARY OF SAFETY DEFECTS & FAILURE: My vehicle is experiencing severe, dangerous mechanical and electrical failures identical to existing national safety recalls, yet my specific VIN is being excluded by the manufacturer. 1. FUEL SYSTEM FAILURE & ENGINE STALLING: The vehicle is experiencing sudden engine stalling and failure to start due to a defective low-pressure fuel pump. This matches the exact failure profile of NHTSA Recall Numbers 23V-858, 21V-215, and…

Infotainment system randomly cycles through menu, as if I'm pressing buttons on the screen. It will lose navigation, randomly call my contacts and audio will turn off and on. This is extremely unsafe. Once it starts doing this the screen becomes unresponsive to actual touch. I can't stop it if I want to. I'm stuck disconnecting my phone and using the screen as navigation, constantly looking down while driving or holding the phone to make a phone call. Local Honda dealerships have told me that…

2024 HONDA ACCORD

Bought this car, drove it home and realized when i drove slow, or stopped and turned wheel it made a clink/creeking noise. Took it to Honda where i bought it, they said it was the power steering rack which is known to have issues. told me it wasnt a safety issue and was safe to drive, they cannot replace it for free unless there is a recall. Looked up online and saw there was in fact recalls for this, just not my car. My 2024 only has 36k miles shouldnt already have issues with such low miles.

2018 HONDA ACCORD

Filed May 27, 2026

I own a 2018 Honda Accord with approximately 108,000 miles. My vehicle has experienced ongoing fuel system and drivability issues connected to the fuel pump recall. It took over two years for Honda to complete the recall repair due to delays and lack of available parts. During that time, my vehicle developed additional issues including failed fuel injectors that required replacement. Even after those repairs, the vehicle continues going into limp mode, causing loss of power and creating a…

2018 HONDA ACCORD

Filed May 27, 2026

While driving the car it went in to limp mode, restricting the ability to maintain normal driving. It did this because the head gasket needs to replaced because coolant is leaking into # 3 cylinder. My wife and others were put at risk when she had to pull over in an area that was unsafe according to a Summerville police officer who came to her aid and helped her get the car to a safe area.

2022 HONDA ACCORD

Filed May 27, 2026

While driving my vehicle suddenly would not accelerate above 20 mph and warning lights all over the dash lit up (check engine, abs brake system, adaptive cruise control, vehicle stability, power steering, hill assist, and brake hold). I took it for a diagnostic, it gave a code for cylinder 3 misfire. I got a tune up the next day along with a fuel system cleaning just to be safe. After about 35 miles of driving I had the same issue 2 days after the tune up, this time no warning lights. I took it…

Steering gear box. UNKNOWN. For some time now I've noticed that my steering has been acting very unusual on a straight away. I would describe it as a sticky feeling. Just checking, have your ever heard of this on Hondas? Could this possibly be a safety issue?
