Honda HR-V

My vehicle paint is peeling and it is the NH788P. ( Orchid Pearl White). I am the second owner of this car as of 2021. It started on the roof and has continued to doors etc. No recalls were shown on the CarFax at the time of purchase.

The informational digital panel that shows how much gas I have left in the tank comes off and on, doesn't come on at all and randomly shows crazy lights all while driving down the road! This has been happening since around 43,000 miles and I'm almost at 100,000 miles. It started right after the first software update on my suv. CVT transmission failed and vehicle lost power while on Interstate I-88 65 MPH speed zone. f Momentum allowed me to reach an exit at which point I needed to push the vehicle by myself off the roadway. Vehicle mileage was slighlty over 60,000 miles and the $10,000 dollar repair was not covered by warranty. Dangerous and costly to consumers! Same CVT was recalled or warranty extended in earlier models.

My wheels will not stay aligned. I’ve had all the property services done to the car, and extra, by a Honda Dealer. I have 8 repair records to alignment on a new car, in under 18 months. Under my state of Virginia laws, only three safety fixes on a car authorize the car as a ‘dud’ and should be a buy back. Having issues where the digital instrument cluster that shows fuel, mileage and odometer freezes and goes blank. Only seems to start working once the car if fully warmed up.

The contact owns a 2025 Honda HR-V. The contact stated that while driving she traveled through a swarm of bugs that splattered on the windshield. Car went into limp mode far from home. Lots of lights on the dash lit up. I scanned the OBD and it came back with code P271E to replace the automatic transmission assembly. This was confirmed by a transmission repair shop. This is a known issue by Honda and they have issued service bulletins 21-046 and 21-047. However, my vehicle is outside of the warranty extension and they will not provide assistance with the repair.
