My 2019 Audi e-tron developed a sunroof leak. On [XXX], Audi Exchange in Highland Park, IL repaired it as a known issue partially covered by warranty; I paid $526.53. The NEW vehicle keeps showing a warning light on the dash saying that the rear wheel bolts are loose two accidents have occurred in a 60 day period, the vehicle has been in for service multiple times and Audi has not found a fix for the safety light warning or found the loose bolts or suspension break issues. The have ignored a vehicle defect notice sent and lawyered up as soon as I said the vehicle was a lemon.

The initial recall (17V298) was performed in 2017 and then the problem reoccurred in 2026 (cracked fuel flange) making it dangerous to drive. This was subsequently fixed at an Audi dealership and they have refused to cover it. Under terms of the recall, it states that this should not be charged to the customer however the charge of $1,670.36 was levied against me. The subframe in the Audi Q5 has plastic that is connected to the bottom of the subframe which traps salt, water and dirt which can lead to premature rusting and failure. The original instrument cluster/virtual cockpit failed to boot and had a black/blank screen on 4/19/2024 at 29,687 miles and was replaced on 5/15/2024 at 29,923 mi (11/13/23 production). An independent mechanic performed a coolant pressure test and identified a leak caused by a tear in the diaphragm of the water pump.
