2025 AUDI Q7

Filed Aug 30, 2026

Sunday morning, XXX, at 07:25 CST, while driving west on [XXX] outside of [XXX], the moonroof of the 2025 Audi Q7 spontaneously exploded with what sounded like a gunshot in the car. The sunscreen was closed at the time, so very little glass entered the vehicle. There were no other vehicles around us at the time. There was no rock hit. We took the next exit and examined the moonroof and found it to be completely gone with a thin rim of remaining glass. We drove to [XXX] and covered the entire…

The 2017 Audi Q7 Prestige was purchased on November 7,2016. Since the purchase, all service was provided by one or the other of two Audi dealerships. During this period, the Audi recommended 10K, 20K,30K, 40K, 50K, 60K, 70K, and 80K mile services had all been performed. In the almost ten years that I owned the car, the oil and oil filter were changed 11 times at one or the other of the two dealerships. The mileage interval between oil changes was 6,383 miles on average with a maximum…

The contact owns a 2021 Audi Q7. The contact stated that the instrument cluster display had become blank and failed to operate as intended. The vehicle was taken to a dealer, where it was diagnosed that the instrument cluster failed and needed to be replaced. The contact associated the failure with NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V201000 (Electrical System);…

Rear sensors failed for Blind Spot Warning, Parking Collision Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Warning and possibly other safety functions have failed on this car twice now since it was purchased. This is known issue and if the car is out of warranty Audi will not cover this very expensive repair for important safety features. Quote from Go Parts website: TSB: Rear Parking Sensor Brackets Detaching A widespread known issue for the 2020-2024 Audi Q7 is the failure of the adhesive that holds the rear…

2021 AUDI Q7

Filed Aug 7, 2026

On startup, the instrument cluster (Audi Virtual Cockpit) takes an abnormally long time to illuminate. When it does come on, the check engine light and multiple other warning indicators are illuminated. First noticed about a month ago when the panel with the speed indicator wouldn't light up or took a long time to illuminate. I took the car to three dealerships before Audi mentioned that this is a manufacturing issue. The vehicle was taken to Jim Ellis Audi, Marietta, GA (Repair Order…

Last year I bought my Audi q7 2008 3.6 v6 and This car really smells like gas so bad on the inside. It’s becoming so strong my garage smells like it too and my children are complaining about headaches. I now also have an Audi q7 2013 3.0 v6 supercharge gas. And this one really has that same leaking strong gas smell. There’s even mentions of it on the invoice from the shops I’ve been to. Sometimes I can smell it then others it’s irresistible and I don’t know if me and my children or others on…

Crash

4/30/26 I came home, parked in my driveway, got out of the car and opened the left back door to get my handicapped son out of the car. He wanted his talker from his backpack(he is nonverbal), so I sat next to him on the back seat and gave him the talker. Then I got out of the car and helped him to get out, closed the left rear door and turned towards my house holding his hand. At that point my mother who got out of the house because she saw us coming started yelling that the car is moving. I…

2022 AUDI Q7

Filed Jul 31, 2026

My 2022 Audi Q7 experienced an internal water pump seal failure that allowed engine coolant to migrate into the vehicle’s vacuum system, contaminating the vacuum reservoir, valve, and connected lines. This is a known failure pattern affecting Audi/Volkswagen vehicles equipped with the 2.9T/3.0T EA839 engine family, where the water pump’s internal design allows coolant to be drawn into the vacuum circuit undetected, since the leak is internal and not visible externally. This can affect brake…
