The cylinder head has cracked and is leaking externally. The engine oil that is leaking out is leaking directly onto the hot exhaust manifold. This can place us as risk due to the engine oil getting ignited by the hot exhaust manifold. There were no warning lamps that came on but there was a smell of burning oil that all of a sudden came up through the vents. This is the 2nd time I’m reporting that I was severely burnt on my thigh from my drivers seat heater, overheating. There are on going glass action law suits against Mazda for this issue. My 2024 CX-50 has not been in service at Olympia Mazda with no updates on repairs and when I will get my car back. Please help me!

The vehicle was traveling at highway speeds when it experienced a sudden, violent lateral jerk to the side, causing immediate side-curtain/seat airbag deployment prior to impacting the center divide. I believe there was a sudden, catastrophic mechanical failure of the front suspension componants causing a partial detachment of the front driver's side wheel. While driving 72mph on the interstate at 6am on 7/21/26 the sunroof exploded. No foreign objects made impact with the vehicle and there was no sudden temperature shifts. The glass had no previous defects and it shattered into tiny pieces, failing into the car. The sun shade was open at the time. The vehicle is being serviced at a glass repair shop who noted this is a common issue with Mazda sunroofs.

After driving on slight up or down hill with headlights on, I'm getting Headlight malfunction warning on my almost brand new (700 miles) Miata.

Blind Spot Monitor detecting phantom objects at highway speeds with no other vehicles around. Speeds between 69-75mph. Right Passenger side blind spot light turns for up to 20 seconds, turns off, then turns on again.

While driving on the highway (50mph), the sunroof had shattered unexpectedly. The sunroof itself was not open, but the visor was open so the glass fell into the car, onto the driver, the passenger and into the backseats. The glass shattering sounded like a gunshot which startled us while on the highway, and the broken glass cut the driver.

Sticky Steering was fixed under a recall during a previous owner of my car. The issue has reappeared causing the steering wheel to stick when making turns or adjustments. The steering wheel often fails to retun to center on its own while driving down the road, and requires force to unstick it. This obviously creates a safety risk as the steering can be unpredictable while driving. Steering will get stuck on turns or curves causing excessive force and jerking to re-center wheel and avoid Vehicle driving in un-intended direction, almost causes accidents.

At about 6:50am July 7th 2026, I was getting in the exit lane of interstate 50 to exit. I merge into the lane and being applying my breaks since I was going about 55-60mph.
