I have taken the care more than once to the dealership to fix a sticky steering wheel but it keeps happening.

The Electric Power Steering Rack and Pinnion is sticking while turning and will not return properly without help.

The component of concern is my interior rearview mirror and it's mounting piece. I was driving on the freeway at about 60mph with my family in the car (kids in backseat). The sunroof spontaneously exploded (sounded like a gunshot went off in the vehicle). I took my 2024 Mazda CX-90 PHEV to the Mazda dealership due to a sticky steering and jerking while turning at high and low speeds. I did some research and found Safety Recall 6524A. The dealership said my vehicle did not have any pending/open recalls so they could not do anything with that information. No specific incident happened however, oftentimes while driving, I experience stickey steering which I have researched and appears as though affected 2024 CX-90 Mazda's. Whili I am driving around sharp turns or on/off ramps that are curved, my steering wheel gets stuch and I have to manually ensure that when I am straightening out the steering wheel, that I don't over correct, merge over the cross line or hit another oncoming vehicle.
