2020 MAZDA CX-30

My car was squeaking and lurching around 3/4 gear. I took it in to the Mazda dealership (Northtowne Mazda in Kansas City) and they told me it was a well-known issue with this year and make of a Mazda. There is a problem with the torque converter lock-up clutch which sheds iron particles into the transmission fluid. The torque converter needs to be replaced. After further research, it appears that Mazda has a well-documented manufacturing defect that is outlined in Mazda TSB 05-005/23. My car…

What is happening with my car are the exact symptoms of the known Mazda Recall 6824H - where the Smart Brake Support suddenly engages for no reason and when it does not need to - which has almost caused me to be rear-ended a few times. This has happened at least 7-8 times since I have owned the vehicle. Apparently, my VIN does not fall under the cars that Mazda reports for the Recall, but nonetheless, my car is still malfunctioning as the Recall describes, which is a safety issue for me. The…

2026 MAZDA CX-30

I am reporting a severe electrical fire and system failure hazard resulting from unauthorized, dealership-installed aftermarket wiring modifications on a brand new 2026 Mazda CX-30. At the point of sale, Walker's Renton Mazda ([XXX]) spliced invasive, unauthorized aftermarket tracking/security wiring (suspected LoJack or similar) directly into the factory CAN-bus and main wiring harnesses. These modifications were done without consent, actively concealed during the pre-purchase inspection, and…

The high beams would turn on by themselves, and no matter what I did, they wouldn't turn off. Each time the high beams turned on, I would have to fiddle with the control stick for a few minutes until the high beams turned off. Sometimes they would turn off for a second and then just turn back on. This is dangerous as it can blind other drivers. This has happened ever since I bought the car a few month ago. On August 11th the control stick broke off while I was trying to turn off the high…

1.5 years after purchasing new my passenger side front door would not open from the inside. Mazda states car is out of warranty at 36837 miles indicating a cable had come disconnected. Approximately 1.5 years later at 59934 miles the front passenger door again would not open from the inside. Mazda states that this door is used frequently (it is not) and after troubleshooting replaced the door handle and lock mechanism on June 22, 2026. Other than having out of pocket expenses of $738 I feel…

Crash

I was driving my 2026 Mazda CX-30 in a parking lot and was pulling into a parking space at a very low speed. I lightly pressed the accelerator to move the car forward, but the car suddenly surged forward much faster than I intended or expected based on how lightly I had pressed the pedal. The sudden acceleration resulted in a collision and property damage. There were no warning lights, warning messages, or other dashboard alerts before or at the time of the incident. I do not know what…

2024 MAZDA CX-30

Reporting Product Defect in Mazda Vehicles I am writing to bring to your attention a recurring design flaw affecting current Mazda vehicles, including models such as CX30, MX30, and potentially the Mazda3 series. Following heavy rain or high humidity conditions, there is a consistent issue with the tire pressure sensor alarming and the smart key being unable to unlock the car doors. I have checked my key fob battery, RF function, car battery - none of these are the root cause. Despite…

When I first got my Mazda CX30 2024 New lease ,my Breaks were very weak & didn't perform as new. Only 2 years later w 9K miles on it, Mazda states my breaks need to be replaced. My rotors need to be shave. A whole list of services on a car thats 2 years old. My concern is, break service at 9K confirm my car wasn't new and that Mazda put my Safety at risk w Old Breaks... Mazda is hiding somerhing about my breaks playing games...in the mean time I feel my safety is in jeopardy with defective…

2023 MAZDA CX-30

Filed Aug 1, 2026

I am the original owner of a 2023 Mazda CX-30 AWD (VIN: [XXX]), purchased new on XXX from Mazda of Clearwater, [XXX]. This vehicle has experienced four separate warranty failure events involving critical safety systems within approximately 32 months and 44,530 miles of ownership. In June 2026, at approximately 44,500 miles, my 2023 Mazda CX-30 AWD exhibited sudden RPM lock and inability to shift, with delayed and jerky acceleration. Dashboard warning lights activated including transmission…

2021 MAZDA CX-30

Filed Jul 27, 2026

The climate control system suffered a sudden, complete failure due to an engineering defect documented in Mazda Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) ID: MC-10203760-0001. The factory evaporator core leaked refrigerant rapidly starving the A/C compressor of essential lubricating oil. This caused the compressor to overheat and complete seize. This failure occurred during extreme summer heat exceeding 100 degrees Fahrenheit, creating an immediate health hazard inside the cabin during my daily 40-mile…
