2020 HYUNDAI PALISADE

Filed Jul 9, 2026

Car seat when you press to collapse the third row press it once the seat activates to collapse if my granddaughter’s in the rear seat and she’s not sitting properly, it’ll collapse on her. Causing death or injury. It won’t retract unless there’s significant pressure to make it retract again. The press and hold will prevent accidental injury.

2022 HYUNDAI PALISADE

Several times now, the car's engine will shut off while driving at low speed. When it shuts off, there is a relatively loud electrical noise coming from the engine compartment, and the instrument panel has multiple lights and sounds. There have been times when this issue has nearly caused a major accident.

2022 HYUNDAI VENUE

Filed Jul 9, 2026

When I drive my 2022 Hyundai venue, when I put it in reverse and the camera comes on, it works fine but when I go back to drive after backing out of my parking space, the camera is still visible from behind and the only way it goe off the screen is if I put the car in park and then put it back in drive. This has been happening for a month.

2022 HYUNDAI SANTA FE

The airbag sensor is on in the car. When I told the dealership they stated that the sensor is not covered under the warranty even though it was over by a fe hundred miles. None of the airbags will deploy if there is an accident. I don't see why a safety issue is not covered by the warranty. For the dealership to fix it, it is going to be over $800.

2020 HYUNDAI SONATA

Filed Jul 9, 2026

The seat belt latches do not latch or will spontaneously unlatch. This has been a problem for about 4 years. I have checked for recalls and not seen any for my car. I will check with the dealer but have tried vacuuming the latches without effect. I have never experienced anything like this in any previous vehicle. The warning buzzer lets me know when the seatbelt unlatches, but I seriously doubt the belt would hold in case of an accident.

2025 HYUNDAI TUCSON

Filed Jul 9, 2026

Crash

The automatic emergency braking system activated early and aggressively causing a rear end collision. It is available for inspection upon request. While driving in busy traffic on a highway I was lightly braking to avoid sudden stops or unexpected movements of the vehicle while traveling between 20-30 mph. The vehicle then activated the emergency braking system and came to a sudden and unexpected complete stop. This sudden stoppage caused myself and my passenger to be thrown forward harshly…

2013 HYUNDAI ELANTRA

Filed Jul 9, 2026

ABS AND BRAKES. The abs system malfunction causing it to run non stop draining my battery and making my brake pedal go to floor. It is available for inspection. My battery has been drained and unable to drive since brakes aren’t properly working. Matt bowers Hyundai in Slidell has confirmed it is the ABS MODULE AND BRAKES FLUSH NEEDED. They are refusing to fix it for free stating I took too long to bring it in. Abs light, traction light and emergency brake light was on before failure.

The head-up display and the digital display cluster turn off and on while driving. The digital display cluster seems to lose connection and will show a NO SIGNAL message. This will happen for minutes at a time. When this happens, the display is black and does not show speed or other important safety information. The vehicle has been inspected twice by the dealership; they are not able to replicate the issue. This problem began within weeks of purchasing the new vehicle.

2025 HYUNDAI IONIQ 5

Filed Jul 9, 2026

During a family road trip, my 2025 Hyundai Ioniq 5 (~9,000 miles, less than one year old) suddenly showed red Check Electric Vehicle System and 12V battery warning lights and then completely lost power. The 12V system failed entirely - the vehicle could not be driven or shifted, and the doors and the rear hatch could not be locked or unlocked. It had to be flat-bedded to a Hyundai dealer because it was completely inoperable. The dealer diagnosed a failed ICCU (Integrated Charging Control Unit)…

2022 HYUNDAI SANTA FE

Filed Jul 9, 2026

I did a navigation update as requested by the infotainment system on the Hyundai. After the update, the air conditioner would not turn on when the ac button was depressed . I took the vehicle to my local Hyundai dealer and they found the ac blower and ac button working intermittently. After further inspection, the mechanic found the multi fuses that sit on the PCB bloc had one burnt fuse that did not blow and was still hot and the PCB block had melted around where the fuse connected to it.
