Hyundai Veloster N

The contact's daughter owns a 2019 Hyundai Veloster N. The contact stated that the brake calipers were leaking brake fluid. There were no warning lights illuminated. On August 15, 2026, while driving my 2022 Hyundai Veloster N, the electric power steering assist intermittently became noticeably heavier than normal. steering rack failed once already and was replaced in entirety thru dealership now it is making creaking sound whenever turning wheel left or right at slow speeds engine issues two years into ownership- white smoke coming from exhaust and required two new spark plugs the blind spot warning has never worked and there is heavy documentation online from other owners stating it simply does not work (and has never worked)

The power steering on my car stopped working entirely right after startup and would not return after multiple restarts. The dealership has replaced the steering torque sensor but the problem returned less than a month later. Without power steering, the car is not safe to drive.

There is an intermittent issue that begins with the lane departure warning light followed by the power steering light flashing red. It leads to a complete and sudden loss of power steering. This has happened at low speeds as well as highway speeds with no discernable pattern for replicating the issue.

The power steering system fails at random sometimes on the highway and off. This is very dangerous as it is very difficult to maneuver the car when I do not have the power steering working especially at highway speeds. This issue has not been reproduced as of yet or inspected. When I am driving first a lane departure or lane assist warning flashes immediately followed by total power steering loss.
