2023 Hyundai Tuscon XRT has a dangerous and alarming issue. The Emergency Braking engages at highway speeds where no risk is present. The car groans and pulls dangerously. In addition, the Forward Collision Warning engages on surface streets every 10-15 seconds and there are no risks present. The emergency braking issue has occurred on several occasions. The Forward Collision Warning issue occurs every time the car is driven.

Vehicle exhibits a dangerous 2-to-3-second delay/total loss of accelerator response at low speeds or rolling stops (5–15 mph). When stepping on the gas pedal to pull into traffic or make a turn, the vehicle hesitates completely before engaging power, even when the pedal is fully depressed. This creates an extreme crash risk when entering oncoming traffic or merging.

I purchased my vehicle from Ideal Hyundai on 04/23/26. On 06/22/26 (less than 2 months later), I was driving to work and the car started to lose power. The display said to check hybrid system and stop safely. After 10 minutes, I was able to drive the car 3 more miles to work. I took it to Ideal Hyundai the next day. I got the car back on 06/26/26 after they said they address the issue and the open recall. Two weeks later, on 07/23/26 I was driving home on a busy highway when the car began…

While driving on a US highway, the check engine light illuminated and the vehicle lost the ability to start/run normally, requiring the vehicle to be pulled off the road and towed to an authorized Hyundai dealership. Dealer diagnostic testing found the engine failed a bearing/performance test, consistent with connecting rod bearing wear. This failure mode — Check Engine light, DTC P1326, abnormal noise, or a no-crank/no-start condition caused by connecting rod bearing wear — is described in…

I was driving on the highway going 65 mph and scared when the engine started clicking and shaking a tiny bit. Plus it was slowing down no matter what i did. Well in a 4 lane highway. There was No engine light, no previous issues. The car drove great until this issue. I had the car only 3 months. Now i am afraid to drive it because i had seen theres an engine recall online for my car. Once i saw the recalls i tried calling alot of my local Hyundai dealer ships and they denied me…

Component: Forward Collision Avoidance / Steering / Electrical SystemDescription of Incident: While driving a rented 2026 Hyundai Tucson SEL AWD (VIN: [XXX]) on the [XXX], the vehicle experienced a severe, uncommanded steering intervention. While maintaining momentum on a winding road, the vehicle's automated systems falsely intervened, aggressively pulling the steering wheel and forcing the vehicle toward the edge of a cliff. The sensation mirrored violent torque steer, fighting driver input…

2026 HYUNDAI TUCSON

7/9/2026 Check engine light on at 320 miles. Had car 3 weeks. Took to dealership they ran diagnostics & the code came up as P050B00 (cold start ignition timing performance). Dealership told me that the manufacture knows there is a problem but does not know how to fix at this time. I was told there was nothing they can do and keep driving the car with a check engine light on, which is ridiculous. Filed a claim that day with the manufacturer. Still no response, but their customer service tells…

On XXX we were driving from [XXX] to [XXX]. Going through the [XXX] mountains on [XXX]. At an elevation of about 6,000 ft. temperature was about 85, speed about 55 mph the window in the back seat (behind the driver) imploded with a huge bang (sounded like a bomb went off). Glass was all over the back seat. I thought someone had shot at our car. I was with a retired CHP and he confirmed no bullets or rocks - this window just spontaneously exploded sending glass shards like shrapnel in the car!…
