2022 LINCOLN CORSAIR PHEV

Filed Jul 21, 2026

I was driving down the highway at around 70 mph, with one passenger. There had been no indications that anything was wrong with the vehicle. Then I noticed the car slowing down though I had not let up on the gas, which I now understand is called 'limp mode'. The screen said 'service vehicle soon'. It kept slowing down while I carefully pulled to the side of the road. Thankfully I had been in the right lane. This was not a very safe place to be, relatively close to an overpass. I turned off the…

Component: Engine (2.0L EcoBoost) — coolant intrusion into cylinders What failed: The engine in my 2019 Lincoln MKC (2.0L EcoBoost, approximately 83,000 miles) failed due to internal coolant intrusion into the cylinders. This is a known defect in this engine, documented by the manufacturer in TSB 22-2229 (superseding TSB 19-2346), which acknowledges coolant leaking into the cylinders on 2.0L EcoBoost vehicles and specifies complete long block engine replacement as the only repair. My vehicle…

2018 LINCOLN NAVIGATOR

Filed Jul 17, 2026

We purchased a 2018 Lincoln Navigator L in 2022 with 29,489 miles, and it has been great. We are at 64,351 miles, and it is making the cold-start rattling noise. We have called Lincoln for assistance, and they are refusing to help. They stated that there is no help. I took it to Duval Ford, and with other issues such as the water pump and leaks, they quoted 12,000 to fix this truck. They did say they had a payment plan to fix the vehicle. When the soft pull was opened in 2022, our truck…
