Around end of May or beginning of June 2026 a check engine light came on in our 2018 MKZ. The code showed cylinder 3 misfire. We called our local Ford dealership for diagnosis. We almost didn't get there as it started to overheat on the way. Once at Ford they diagnosed it with coolant intrusion in cylinder 3. They said this was a known issue and needed a new block. $11,500 for replacement. They said driving it could cause catastrophic problems to the vehicle and possibly the passengers in it.…

Drivers front door inner sheet metal structure has failed/torn at the check arm mounting points under normal operating conditions.. safety hazard. Dealership and Lincoln will not take full responsibility after known structural defect exists. I note on your website that in Nautilus alone there are 10 complaints including mine. Our car had less than 42,000 miles when we noticed. The entire door needs to be replaced.

All dashboard warning lights come on simultaneously, randomly/without warning. This also affected the cruise control activation along with the vehicle lane change warning sensors becoming non-operational.

My vehicle’s alarm repeatedly activates while the vehicle is parked, turned off, and locked, approximately every 15 minutes. When the vehicle is unlocked, the front and rear lights remain illuminated even though the vehicle is turned off and the keys are not in or near it. The battery was tested twice after the vehicle had been at rest before I brought it to the dealership. The recall states the rear view camera could display a blank or distorted image on the center display screen when the vehicle is in reverse. So far this has not happened. My complaint is that in a year's time Lincoln has failed to contact me as the vehicle's owner to resolve this recall.
