2021 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER VELAR
Filed Sep 3, 2026
This complaint is filed regarding an inoperable vehicle subject to active safety recall NHTSA 26V-248 / JLR Campaign D126. My 2021 Range Rover Velar MHEV experienced a total charging failure and loss of motive power caused by an internal failure of the 48V-to-12V DC-DC converter (boost control microchip defect). A professional diagnostic confirmed the 12V battery is viable, but the DC-DC converter has zero output and is throwing charging communication faults. The vehicle is completely…

2020 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER EVOQUE
Filed Sep 1, 2026
My vehicle is affected by Safety Recall D126 / 26V-248. The vehicle has already experienced the recall failure: loss of charging, stalling while driving, and now it will not crank at all. The dealership is refusing towing, refusing to document the safety failure, and refusing Transportation. Corporate has also refused assistance. I am left without a vehicle and unable to work. This is an unsafe condition and a violation of federal recall obligations.
2023 LAND ROVER DEFENDER
Filed Sep 1, 2026
The contact owns a 2023 Land Rover Defender. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 26V248000 (Electrical System); however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. The local dealer was contacted. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure
2016 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY SPORT
Filed Sep 1, 2026
2016 Land Rover Discovery Sport, turbocharger failed at approximately 98,000 miles. Vehicle required turbocharger replacement costing over $5,000. VIN is excluded from the existing turbocharger class-action settlement because the vehicle is identified as having a BorgWarner single-scroll turbocharger. I believe the turbocharger failure may represent a premature manufacturing/design defect similar to the turbocharger failures alleged in the existing Flynn-Murphy litigation.
2018 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER
Filed Aug 31, 2026
Following a routine oil and filter service and starter motor replacement at an authorized Land Rover dealer, the engine seized within 21 miles of vehicle delivery. The vehicle was brought to the dealer for a no-start condition. A prior independent shop had evaluated the vehicle and found exclusively electrical issues — no engine, fluid, or cooling concerns. The dealer performed a multi-point inspection confirming no fluid leaks and no engine concerns. The dealer then performed an oil and…
2025 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER SPORT
Filed Aug 31, 2026
When using my parking assist feature for the first time the vehicle malfunctioned causing me to hit the car that I was trying to park in front of. The park assist took over when I engaged it but accelerated and hit the care without warning. I happened so quickly that I could not apply the brake until it was too late. There were 4 of us in the car at the time and were all shocked. Luckily no one was injured but it was definitely a possibility and there was damage to both vehicles. The police…
2018 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY
Filed Aug 29, 2026
Shortly after I purchased this used 2018 Land Rover Discovery with approximately 30,700 miles, the vehicle began intermittently lurching, surging and shaking during normal driving. These symptoms began before the check-engine light illuminated. Two days after the check-engine light first appeared, the lurching and surging became noticeably worse. Approximately two minutes before the first engine shutdown, numerous warnings appeared in rapid succession, including “Stability Control Not…
2023 LAND ROVER DEFENDER
Filed Aug 28, 2026
Airbag warning light is ON. Dealer states that this is caused by the wire harness under the seat getting caught when seat moves and breaks the wire continuity. Dealer states that several of these incidents have been observed in many vehicles as the harness design is prone to being trapped in the seat movement mechanism. Dealer states that the passenger side Airbag will NOT deploy if harness not replaced. Dealer states that this Airbag fault is not currently part of the known Airbag recall as…
