The transmission has failed twice while the vehicle was in motion, causing loss of gear control and, on one occasion, loss of parking brake function. Vehicle engine shut down and completely lost power. Technician inspected and found intake camshaft actuator came loose from camshaft. On this vehicle it simply uses tension from the bolt torquing. There is no keyway to prevent this. Vehicle engine is destroyed. Very unsafe design.

instrument cluster failed. I replaced fuses and still no information about the car mileage ,gas , and speed of the car can be seen . This was followed by a rain storm the day before. unlike previous issued I reported to the dealership where rain water leaked in other the console and passenger seat.

There as been a recall on this Range Rover for 1 year with no remedy. Range Rover customer service offers no answers or help. Dealership inspects vehicles at no cost. How ever with out the recall being fixed this vehicle is useless and unsafe. How long is it resonance to wait for a remedy. Over a year is far too long something needs to be done.

On June 13, 2026 my 2023 Range Rover Velar (79,772 miles) suffered a sudden, complete engine failure at highway speed on HWY 70 in Durham, NC. No warning lights, oil pressure alerts, or dashboard notifications appeared before or during the failure. The vehicle had operated well since purchase with no prior issues of any kind.
