There has not been a specific incident yet, but I am very concerned about the lack of lighting in the dark when our vehicle is in reverse. The contact owns a 2024 Volvo V60CC. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the turn signals, the blind spot detection system, and the side cameras became inoperable. The failure was intermittent. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where the infotainment system software update was performed on several occasions; however, the failure persisted. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 500.

I am reporting an ongoing and worsening defect condition involving a Volvo vehicle that has displayed repeated power steering / steering failure warnings and is now also showing additional symptoms consistent with a possible turbo / emissions-related failure. The steering-related warnings have remained active and unresolved over an extended period. Vehicle was purchased from Leikin Motors in Willoughby Ohio on 15 SEP 2025. Since taking ownership, I have had 5 service visits for the same wiring harness issue and once for a throttle body replacement. Volvo has repeatedly denied the issue and has continued to perform more splices into the existing harness blaming the issue on rodents. Hello, I currently drive a 2016 Volvo V60 Cross Country which falls under the year of recalled vehicles related to the piston ring issue outlined in the Buchanan, et al. v. Volvo Car USA, LLC, et al., Case No. 2:22-cv-02227. According to the suit Volvo is supposed to replace my oil piston rings if it falls under warranty which is under 100k miles. The engine consumes an excessive amount of oil, requiring the addition of about one quart every few hundred miles. There are no visible external leaks, and the issue appears to be due to internal engine components such as piston rings allowing oil into the combustion chamber. Currently on going, second time around with high oil consumption problems. Dealer is saying warranty is holding up repairs, warranty points finger at dealership, and Volvo refuses to address the massive safety problem with oil consumption cars by refusing to fix. I will never buy another Volvo, and strongly recommend anyone considering a Volvo to think about how they’re treating current customers with the known oil consumption problem (horribly).

Engine oil consumption issue. It was a known issue. Completed the recommended repair of the piston and rings. Have had constant issues since the repair. Looking for reimbursement for the repair. My engine fell under the guidelines to have the repair covered.
