My 2023 Ram ProMaster 3500 Van has a fuel leak where the filler-tube goes into the gas tank. I believe others have reported the factory defect & safty hazard. The manufacturer and the dealer will NOT fix it without charging me over $2,500. The vehicle is out of its 3-year, 36,000-mile warranty, but I believe this factory manufacturing defect should be covered. RAM is or was (I hope someone checks) still selling the part with the defective recalled steering assembly for the issue with the corroded wiring harness. Water intrusion into the electric power steering rack/harness causing failure. The steering wheel was shaking violently and rendering the vehicle completely undrivable. Once the vehicle dried out, the symptoms went away.

Fuel tank where gasket seal is, leaking gas. Seal cannot be replaced, whole tank needs to be replaced. According to mechanic it will take 3 months to get new gas tank. Looking online and according to mechanic - it it a very common problem with this van. It causes risk of fire while waiting for new gas tank.

We have a 2021 Ram Promaster 1500 Winnebago Pocket Solis. We smelled gasoline while loading up gear for a trip. Upon inspection we saw that gasoline was leaking at the seal of the gas tank.
