INFINITI QX60

This occurred at two different times. I was making a turn after a stop and the steering wheel locked up after turning the wheel one full rotation. This occurred to doing a right turn and on another occasion doing a left turn. I had to jerk hard on the the steering wheel to free the steering wheel. On March 30, 2026, INFINITI of Naperville performed a multi-point inspection (RO 114984) on my 2025 Infiniti QX60 at 10,507 miles and measured both rear brake pads at 6mm. On October 13, 2026, at 15,467 miles, the same dealership measured both rear brake pads at 3mm — 3mm of wear in approximately 4,960 miles, evenly on both sides. While driving my vehicle, it suddenly accelerated without my foot on the accelerator. The RPMs increased significantly, and the vehicle went to full throttle, accelerating rapidly without any input from me. The turbo does not kick in and caused the vehicle to not accelerate as needed when initially pulling out in traffic. Infiniti has a software update but they are charging owners to do it stating it is not a safety update but a performance update. This delay in shifting almost cause my vehicle to be hit because the car would not shift out of first gear. This also is not considered a warranty item to them.

2019 Infiniti QX60, VIN [XXX]. Dealer installed a Pass Time kill switch with the factory brake pedal wire cut in half and routed through the box. Pass Time's own install guide says to wire it to the starter and NEVER to any other circuit. If that box glitches, you lose brake lights and the brake signal to the car's computer. The contact owns a 2024 Infiniti QX60. The contact stated that while driving 5 MPH, the accelerator pedal was depressed; however, the vehicle failed to accelerate as intended. While driving, vehicle displays Engine Malfunction warning and loses propulsion/ability to accelerate. Vehicle remains electrically powered. Restarting the vehicle may temporarily restore limited drivability. This has occurred four times despite manufacturer-authorized repairs. The ECM was replaced after a prior occurrence and the same failure subsequently recurred.

At the end of XXX I noticed that my 2019 Infiniti QX60 was starting to jerk when I accelerated. At first it was an intermittent jerking but on or about XXX it was happening more often. On XXX, at approximately 7:30–7:50 a.m., the driver was traveling northbound on the [XXX] in [XXX] during heavy rain. While the vehicle was moving, it unexpectedly began steering or correcting its direction without the driver intending it to do so. At approximately the same time, the vehicle lost acceleration and the brakes did not respond normally. Vehicle power steering and PS light, check engine light, and master warning light came on. Got it to Auto Zone for diagnostic tag and report says power steering needs to be replaced. There is a build up and the liquid is not going where it should, it is backing up and over flowing. Suggested to take the vehicle to the dealer there may be a recall because he's seen approximately 20 vehicles same issue.
