I am writing to request NHTSA’s assistance and guidance regarding an unresolved safety recall affecting my 2022 Infiniti QX50, VIN [XXX]. I imported this vehicle from the United States to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, in 2023. The vehicle remains in Abu Dhabi and is awaiting shipment back to the United States. We received the federal recall information and took the vehicle to the nearest Infiniti dealer (96 miles away) on 9/2/26. Diagnostics were performed and were told that the car passed the inspection.
