Genesis GV70

On October 19, 2026 at approximately 8:40 AM, I was behind a Lexus SUV at a stop sign and I went to put on my eyeglasses. When I released the brake to accelerate forward the car stopped and put on the emergency brakes twice before I could finally accelerate. The car released an alarming alert on the dashboard saying “emergency braking.” This was dangerous considering there was a car directly behind me and I had my 20 month old in a car seat on the back seat.

The fuel pump was no longer connected, and the engine had a crack, with oil leaking, without an engine light coming on until the very end. Loss of steering control and inability to accelerate.

There is an intermittent malfunction on startup. A warning alarm and large graphic saying, check tire pressure monitoring system. The vehicle has a full bumper-to-bumper warranty from the manufacturer. I have documented the problem through multiple videos and pictures, but since the diagnostic codes show everything is fine, the dealer is refusing to do anything at all. I don't feel safe driving a car that has random alarm warnings regarding tire pressure.
