Genesis GV70

When slowly backing up my GV70 from a parking spot, on two occasions the brakes have slammed on. In both instances there were no cars in close proximity behind my vehicle and no hazard or obstacle was present.

The air conditioning system in my 2022 Genesis GV70 appears to have a recurring evaporator core failure that results in loss of cold air and unsafe driving conditions. Excessive amount of moisture inside my headlight. Affects how bright my headlight is at night and is now prone to failure. Dealership has documentation of the issue and is making it very difficult to replace.

The service brake system has a recurring uneven/abnormal braking issue. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. The concern has been reported to a Genesis dealer multiple times. I leased a 2026 Electric GV70 from Genesis in June 2025. In January of 2026, when driving the car I got a warning sign to stop the vehicle and check the battery supply. At that point, the car went into sever power reduction and would only go 20 MPH or so. After 20-30 minutes, the car completely shut down and became inoperable.
