Genesis Electrified GV70

On October 19, 2026 at approximately 8:40 AM, I was behind a Lexus SUV at a stop sign and I went to put on my eyeglasses. When I released the brake to accelerate forward the car stopped and put on the emergency brakes twice before I could finally accelerate. The car released an alarming alert on the dashboard saying “emergency braking.” This was dangerous considering there was a car directly behind me and I had my 20 month old in a car seat on the back seat.

While driving and making a turn or stop and go the vehicle will not accelerate when peddle is pressed it will go about 20mph go into limp mode until you can get to a safe place to shut off engine and restart vehicle; The vehicle is at the Dealer now waiting on diagnostics report, No warning lights or code messages showing, Auto is Dangerous to my family and other drivers this happen approximately 4 times since I own this vehicle just purchased 8/4/2026 19000 miles Under manufacturer warranty

There is an intermittent malfunction on startup. A warning alarm and large graphic saying, check tire pressure monitoring system. The vehicle has a full bumper-to-bumper warranty from the manufacturer. I have documented the problem through multiple videos and pictures, but since the diagnostic codes show everything is fine, the dealer is refusing to do anything at all. I don't feel safe driving a car that has random alarm warnings regarding tire pressure.

The contact owns a 2024 Genesis GV70. The contact stated that after starting the vehicle, the vehicle failed to accelerate. There was no warning light illuminated. The contact stated that the vehicle moderately accelerated after switching gear. Additionally, the START/STOP warning light was displayed orange instead of white during the failure. The dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 27,000.

As I’m getting on XXX south my dashboard starts to blackout on and off and the next thing, my vehicle shutdown. Luckily I was in traffic at a slow speed. The instrument cluster display intermittently showed a number components in alarm state such as lane departure, collision warning, blind spot warning, ABS while driving and while parked then seemed to clear and go back to normal . There was no indication of a problem wi09th steering or braking.
