Dodge Grand Caravan

The front passenger side headrest in my 2015 Dodge Van deployed in April 2024. Head rest deployment is a known issue. The dealership told me the headrest was under an extended warranty due to the issue. The dealership placed the headrest on back order for 1.5 years. Now that the headrest is available at the dealership, the dealership is refusing to install it under the extended warranty. MINIVAN HAS SLIDING DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR FAILURE, DRIVER SIDE. UNABLE TO OPEN SLIDING DOOR MANUALLY OR WITH POWER DOOR MOTOR. LOCK/UNLOCK LATCH IS STUCK IN LOCKED POSITION. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE IN CASE OF VEHICLE CRASH OR FIRE. EXACT SAME ISSUE WITH OLDER MODELS. CHRYSLER HAS ISSUED A WARRANTY BULLETIN (D-21-15) FOR FACTORY REPAIR OF THIS SAME ISSUE FOR 2015-2017 MODELS. THE EXACT SAME ACTUATORS ARE USED IN 2018 AND 2019 MODELS.

The break calipers keep sticking and need to be replaced at least once per year. The stick and cause an awful black smoke. The last time they were replaced was almost a year ago to date.

The passenger side sliding door is locked into place the power actuator has gone out. An entry way is locked putting people in danger, one way in one way out for 5 rear passengers. The airbag compartment in the drivers seat headrest popped open while driving and I have been unable to pop it back in. I was not injured but it scared me and could have caused an accident.

The contact owns a 2019 Dodge Grand Caravan. The contact stated that while driving 60 MPH, the vehicle started jerking, lost motive power, and the RPMs elevated to the red line. The contact pulled over to the side of the road with the engine running, but the vehicle was unable to drive forward. The vehicle had experienced transmission failure. The automatic transmission failed while driving, causing a loss of propulsion and leaving the vehicle stranded. This created a safety hazard because the vehicle could no longer accelerate or move out of traffic. This is the fourth Chrysler/Dodge vehicle I have owned that has experienced a substantially similar transmission failure.

While driving my headrest popped forward and hit me in the back of the head.
